Not by the playoffs, especially since you were picking between some pretty shitty VAs at that point. Really no doubt that Valhalla was the best team of all-time in GLB, but it's fair to say that HHWC is the best franchise.

Don't agree with that either. Knowledge of VAs, AEQ, etc is more equal now, but there were a lot more people back then trying to be elite. Now it's just the same small group of farts competing against each other every season.

but there was a big difference between trying to be elite and really being elite in these days. Many tried to be elite but only a handful was elite and well ahead of the others.
Also it was way easier to win games with simply having the better dots these days than it is today. In todays sim the score in general is way lower and the RNG is much more random, so 1 missed tackle could be the difference between winning and loosing a game.

Cares were higher, talent was clearly shit tho. There were no teams in line with valhalla and blaze and lincoln was second tier with an incredibly mediocre team in comparison to each of them.

And despite the lack of care attitude in this sim, I still see plenty of team forums where teams are putting together great effort in order to win. So qq with that excuse.

Its not just knowledge of aeq and vas now tho...building is just incredibly easy. The cares and difference between building the highest eff level dot and building one that just has a higher eff level than actual level is pretty minimal.

Ya most of the teams in wl could have put their best effort possible and still not have had a close game against valhalla or blaze.

1 HHWC - talent on many more teams than it used to be and they still are on top, cares or not
2 Blaze/East St Louis/Odessa - These teams have multiple titles and won when everyone knew what was going on
3 Valhalla - Very dominant, but teams didn't know what they knew
4 Hali - The initial 2 time champs were really good when WL started but faded. cares may have been why but i am guessing valhalla and then others passing them by is why
5 All others with 1 Title. Get 1 more and you go with group 2. It's much harder to win now.

The only extra thing alloy knew was that catch ball aeq didn't just help with drops. My Providence guys from that era all already had 3 pieces of AEQ with most of those being % pieces. They dominated because they were just that good.

Valhalla - ridiculously dominant in a sim, meta-game, and competitive environment that was far different from today's dot-ball.


HHWC- great franchise that has shown the ability to win in many different sims in a World League that is far more widely competitive than the early days of WL.


I think those two stand above the rest of the field.

HHWC just got their 4th WL title. And for the teams I'm involved with, it would take AT MINIMUM, Nearly 6-8 months to do just that if we won back to back to back to back. But we gotta get there first. Either way, you can't down play what HHWC is doing or has done, it just won't make any sense.

Hats off to HHWC for being the best.
