Promote Blaze I agree. They would improve WL as much as I hate saying that.

I think we have a mutual respect so please don't take this too personally, but saying what you just did makes it look like you don't understand the concept of lolintegrity. I know I get razzed about that, but it's something I genuinely believe in and try to live by. Integrity or fairness or whatever you want to call it exists independently of the subject or how they've treated you. Dpride being a braggart and any number of other things doesn't mean I think he deserves to get screwed. Nor would I want standards of promotion to be decided on the basis of personality (lord knows that would hurt me). Even if it was an accident that dpride caused himself by making a last minute change to the DAI (something I've done before), it's still an obviously unfortunate and unrepresentative result. At least when someone wins through return TDs or turnovers or whatever else, it's still a sim result. This is something else. Whether it was an accident or sabotage, it ended a great team's season in a way that was not deserved or at all appropriate. If all the WL playoff teams were staying, I'd say they just have to live with it and crush Pro next season, but the fact that there are openings and the very high likelihood that they would be here if not for the DAI controversy makes me feel like they deserve the spot.

I feel bad for him, and PMed him to say so. And this is coming from someone who said that he's bad for the game. People invest thousands of dollars and endless hours into this silly game, and no one deserves it have it flushed like that.

Isn't that kind of the point? It takes no character to stand up for someone everybody already likes.

It's not like an unfortunate turn of events made him act like an ass all the time - that was a choice

If he at least had ever tried to act with integrity on this site it might be different.

You have people that don't like you because of how you come across sometimes, but you aren't going around starting threads to attack people - you just rub people the wrong way sometimes (sometimes intentionally) when trying to have a lucid and rational discussion

if you cannot see the difference between someone like you and dpride I am sorry, but I feel the difference is night and day

1. Recent precedent has been extra WL team stays, not extra team promotes (early precedent was extra promote)

2. Owners take responsibility for who has access to AI's and different GM tools. Changing the DAI with access is NOT a bannable offense.

3. It is rather funny that this stuff happened in a ATKM vs Blaze match-up.

4. No way on earth should Blaze get extra spot regardless since both Ice+fire and Hedgehogs went 16-0 and lost CCG, would make zero sense to let a 15-1 team in WL.

I imagine extra WL teams just stay since that's what's been happening, but imo dpride got what was coming to him and regardless blaze to WL s23 isn't happening without retardation...
