Most Pro championship contending teams are already 400-440+ days old. So once they win the season they are invariably 440-480+ days old. Keep the majority of the same roster and they finish their first season at 480-520+ days old. Looking at the EL pulled up at the start of this season showed that most were going to push around 540+ at the end of this season...

And this is an irrelevant statement. Every team has a degree of turnover, however if you are permanently operating in the 480+ range, then you are replacing the majority of your roster every year. There is absolutely no way you can tell that these replacement players are more suited to the current sim than the last ones were.

How do you know those better builds will relate to the next season's sim

GLB champs are being demoted, which is the real travesty this season.

Depends on your priorities. Do you value the tournaments over remaining in WL? Teams can compete in both, but you need a pretty big network of agents helping with the workload.

the sim doesn't fluctuate offensively all that much from year to year........over a 5 year span yes.......but year to year no

defensively the only big difference between this season and the last 4 is the ability to move the dline and blitzing linebackers where you want them but canton shows you can still put some heat on the qb you just have to consider more risk reward instead of almost guaranteed reward with 4 or 5 man rushes

This happens every season. No matter how "even" you try and make it (let alone random as it is), you just don't know how some teams will play. Rosters change. Albeit, you'd think that at least ONE TIME the conferences would be more equal than every single season. But life is not fair. There's likely always going to be a team who would have won it if they were in the other conference or not demote if they were in the other WL conference. It is not fun demoting and having to dominate Pro though.

How about splitting up the 16 carry overs then placing the promotes after there is 8 carry overs in each.

MPHD should move over to the Zeta bracket as part of this plan. That would make it fair I think.

In 2008, Pats missed the playoffs at 11-5 while the Chargers got in at 8-8.

I don't know how sarcastic you're being, but giving the GLB champs an auto-promote/remain would actually add an interesting wrinkle. Although inevitably you'd have a team go 0-16 but win the tourney and people would be upset.

they need a hemisphere league. These WL teams have gotten too good for Pros.

Honestly. Their presence in Pros will just destroy the 15 other teams' hopes.

Bort is going for realism

See the 10-6 Giants, 10-6 Buccaneers, and 9-7 SD Chargers not making the playoffs while the 7-9 Seahawks get in

9-7 SD Chargers

NFL knows they'd be 1+done, so why waste time, imo

as a member of the conference that's probably gonna receive DVFT i completely agree. We were probably slight favorites in a conference that could have been one by one of 5-6 teams...........now it's just like it currently is with this season and BAB
