They also have more combined wins in WL than any APL team.

The biggest argument in this discussion has always been about what teams did in APL and those who left it and continued to be succesful. Hard pill to swallow for some but getting out of APL to go to WL for one season and get demoted back is not a long term victory. Don't get me wrong winning a Pro league is a great accomplishment BUT there is a bigger picture now and it's WL. It's the main reason that APL has been viewed poorly because we've had few teams able to survive in WL.
Which makes the WWR comment pretty funny because they are probably the biggest WL chokers from APL. Combined 5-27 record if i'm not mistaken? That sound right Stiffie? And there's a few seasons of gap between them doing that great deed. So talking about their longevity as a #1 in APL is a joke. They were a good APL team. The best APL team hardly. 2 seasons in WL showed them to not only be an average Pro team but a below average team on the biggest stage this game offers. So yeah they beat up on APL teams quite fine during their time. But they couldn't win with any regularity vs the great teams of GLB.

I think Ive got it now. The thread title should have been named Top 10 teams to have played in the APL...that would be more representative....

Dakar was the first team to really compete in WL from APL therefore they are a top team of APL IMO...And I hate GM!
