hmmmm. I guess BDC is giving up 500 points of SP Value to you guys at the K and P positions combined right now, and after boost that will be over 600 I guess. We'd probably look a lot better with that adjustment I'm thinking.

we do have the K with MVP gear though, so we've got that going for us, which is nice

It's pretty unquestionable that these rankings do indeed mean something. It's not as simple as the top 16 always make it. Obviously gameplanning/AI, VA/AEQ coordination, having key builds (blitzer or good INT guys or dominant QB) are key as well. But it's pretty easy to see a strong correlation between eff avg sp and success.There are exceptions to the rule but those are mainly exceptions.

Low eff sp teams can definitely make the playoffs, but the margin for error is a lot smaller. You're generally involved in more 50/50 games that come down to the wire. You can' afford as many slip ups generally. Meanwhile some teams kinda cruise control to the playoffs. Not to say they don't work really hard to set up recruiting, base AIs, adjusting to the sim, and stuff but they have the tools to make things easier

top 16 never make it actually. One or two of the top 16 will probably be awful (tends to happen every season so far).

Definitely agree it is an uphill battle if you aren't in the top 16 though. Tends to require long winning streaks near the end of the season in my experience

Are these rankings just for effective level and attributes, or are SAs included in the calculation?

build value. SAs are counted, equipment isn't.

SP value is counted. ALGs aren't involved in SAs though.

1068 is really low for season 19. Wouldn't use that as much of a benchmark. Lots of mediocre regular pro teams have more than that. Some 1100 pro teams that would get beat by 30-50 by the under 1100 WL teams

1100 for the highest casual team is lower than i expected. Wasn't there a team a season or two ago with more than that? Surprised the builds haven't caught up as much.
