As I told you before the game, if dpride is smart he will go full coverage.... turns out he was.

I am 50/50 on the strategy. One move from you guys and we won't score on offense.

That move was dropping everyone in coverage

hahahaha. Damn i wish i didn't get called in to work early. Pretty funny to watch people talk strategy after the sim locks for awhile. Good thread.

Yea, i figured they'd drop coverage too on 3wr formations. Blitzing blocking TEs on 2wr formations makes sense. Wasn't around in the alpine war room today but i would've loved to hear Cav explaining the receiving TE playing LT thing to me

GG dpride. Once i saw the first drive and the gameplans in place i knew we were toast. I thought we might morale spiral our way back and we crawled within like 15 twice and i thought it'd keep snowballing but you guys had that one lucky long TD that might've saved your season since i'm guessing your morale was at like 65-75 and once you got that TD instantly jumped up to 90+.

I"d like to say it was entertaining to watch but i'm getting a bit bored of the super high scoring and 12 turnover games. Despite the crazy stats and big plays all over the place they honestly are kinda boring to me. I tried watching the jam/hhwc game blind but i saw the gameplans in place and figured it'd be a hhwc big win so stopped.

Should be a good finals though. Last two champions

No doubt that the low scoring games are a million times more entertaining to watch. They at least have a little bit of the feel a football game has. Games like this one does not.

The two best teams are facing off in the final. No doubt about that.

I dont' mean super low scoring though i do enjoy some of the 21-17 games but even like 45-38 is generally more fun. Where each touchdown really means something and not just that you chipped away at the other team's morale more.

yea seeing a team go up 21-0 then go down 35-21 then win 65-60 is shitty

Well it's like how when you see 5 pick 6s in a game and 4-5 long TD plays a game each one is less exciting. Not to mention that with 70 points for each team, each TD in theory means less in terms of a % of the score. When you're only scoring 25-45 the TDs has a greater impact. I knew alpine had the losing AI in from the first drive or two but i didn't stop watching because i thought there was a chance we could win on a reverse morale spiral. Kinda lame
