Yup. He said that confidence likely plays a bigger role in the playoffs because the teams should theoretically be closer in quality, so things like confidence can make the difference, but he's stated many times that it is the exact same sim. I have no reason to doubt that, as we see idiotic results during the regular season too. The problem isn't a different playoff sim or how much confidence matters, but rather the inherent design which creates cascade effects where a small series of events leads to a feedback loop producing unstoppable momentum.

Well the Gurupies brought about 70 guys from a sports web site when we all came over JTserb was one of them , so I know none of you are his multi lol. We've lost quite a few to attrition and unfortunately, JTserb has now apparently quit the game along with a bunch of other guys. Guess we are on the lookout for another OC.

I am still dumbfounded on how the game is basically Morale with some football thrown in rather than Football with morale being a minuscule part of things. Many of us are here for the game of football not some video game or forums or any of the other childish banter that goes on. Building players to form a team sounds fun, but so many things have been taken away. Instead of salaries meaning anything they go even more to morale. Season long promotions go to morale even more. Roster changes also go to morale. This whole game is based on morale. Surely there has to be something similar to this game that is based on the game of football.

Moral is a giant failure. None of the mechanics of how it works seem to make sense. If they increased the effects of moral in an attempt to promote build diversity by adding value to having confidence (correct goal) they failed miserably in the execution.
