I have all my kickers set to everyone can view and everyone else set to team can view unless specifically requested to close it to coordinators or whatever, so it annoys the shit out of me when I have players on teams I'm coordinating with their builds closed so I can't see them.

Should be a checkbox though so you could still decide how you want to leave it "inside" the team.

yup definitely. the whole system should be checkboxes really. one for:
- owner
- coordinators
- gm's
- teammates
- friends
- public
i'd check off teammates but not owner or coordinators. that would teach the owners out there who don't have any dots on their own team!
