My personal opinion is -6 Saigon. I don't think it's as much of a toss up as people think. The Blaze match up fairly well though, but they really just aren't that good of a team. -2 would probably be the line if I were a bookie though.

Would be interesting to see your line on Alpine - Monowi since you got players on both

Agreed.

It's Saigon's game to lose, but with the S17 sim anything can happen. RNG has never been so much a part of the game as it is now, imo.

6 GLB weeks ago Saigon would have been a 13.5 point favorite, but Saigon ended the season on a down note and Blaze turned around their awful start. When setting the spread for both Zeta games I had both teams favored at one point. I figured with the Blaze/Saigon game, whichever team I made an underdog would get a flood of bets. With no spread everyone is forced to pick one at -110 with no points.

how'd MPHD do yesterday?

Seriously though, with the importance of INTs, and the difficulty in running a smooth ball control offense to hedge that risk, games are really often decided by whose CBs win the INT ball roll.

heh, I'm really torn on this one because I think that Alpine is the better team right now, but Monowi absolutely destroyed Alpine with DLine pressure last game. One could surmise it was a bad streaky day for the Oline, but man that was brutal last time for Alpine. That said, if I was forced to make a line on this one, it would be Alpine -3.5, but definitely could go either way. Lines in GLB are so difficult because seriously there aren't many games within a TD right now, and either team is capable of winning by 20+

DADDY is a good team, much better than their record indicates (they had some AI issues in the first part of the season).

They came with a solid game plan and played very well, they absolutely deserved the victory.

The RNG came into play in the following ways:
MPHD has the number #1, #2 and #3 fumble forcers in the conference (STOPers) and we forced one fumble on ST. They also have a couple very good FFers and they forced two fumbles (on my returner playing with carrying over 95).

Other than that, we forced a random fumble (by a guy with no particular force fumble skills) on the first play from scrimmage, but they covered it, while they forced a random fumble (again, coming from a guy with no history of FF) and they covered it.

Those turnovers very likely decided the game, and in my mind were pretty much a coin flip.

WTF? If we aren't good then the line would be much greater than -2. Considering saigon is the best team in the game, and we are on the road, a -2 would mean you think we are the favorite on a neutral field, and therefore are better than the best team in the game....

Alternatively, Saigon could do something crazy like refuse to cover WR2 in the singleback set, then it's anybody's guess....

God, honestly. I anticipated triple coverage on buckner It was an ai error with cb2. Looks to be as if it was cover man hb strong instead of cover hb strong man /w o move. I threw in overload quite a bit in the game hoping I might get that look, but I anticipated a cb or 2 on buckner and a deep safety...

Don't think that the 3 point home field advantage in NFL applies in GLB. Is that even still right in the NFL?
NCAA has crazy home field advantages, for sure.
