actually, we had a couple of good years in the 2000's with owens and garcia. it wasnt until we had york and co as owners, did we start to falter. as for the your team, well, we 5-0 in super bowls. how are you guys.

The salary cap went into play after the 94/95 season and the 49ers went down hill. Since 98 the 49ers only had 2 winning seasons. You're trying to tell me that isn't shit?

We're 5-1. We made it there more often and most recent (probably would have had another if the Pats didn't have the video camera in our 15-1 season, we beat them in the regular season). Also, we only had 2 losing seasons in the same time frame you only had 2 winning seasons (10 years).

those are great points. but i would rather have the 5-0 over your 5-1. looks nicer. as for us beeing worse most recently, dosent matter to me. you guys have not passed us in superbowls and neither have we. unless you get number 6 or we get number 6, dosent matter what kind of season you have. good job on the winning seasons, out of those 10 years you have only 1 superbowl. get another then i will admit you're better. until then your on the same level.

Number 1 defense, we lost Haggans who is replaced by Woodley (Woodley is an upgrade)
Number 9 offense, we lost Faneca. We also added Mendenhall and Sweed through the draft.
Roethliberger (Pro Bowler) Parker (Pro Bowler) Mendenhall, Ward, Holmes, Sweed, Miller... All young except Ward, but he's far from over the hill.
