On another topic more relevant to this thread, I think this game shows that you had a good shot at winning the real game if you had a better game plan.
My defense did a number on your crossing routes, as much as was possible, and you should have anticipated I would stack those areas to stop them and went with the outside routes you owned us with in the second game (when we were still focusing on the crossing routes). I mean, your WR2s combined averaged something like 1/8th the yards of your WR3s, and you still didn't anticipate I would stack the middle.
You also made adjustments to stop the crossing routes, but I anticipated your changes. I adjusted by changing target settings to look at WR3 after he got to the strong side, past the middle coverage, and combined that with HB passes and more side passes than you guys used. Thus the stacked middle crossing coverage wasn't as much of a problem for my offense.
Anyone can verify all this by just watching the games.
