I was thinking that for this season. Holy can pass defending get any worse?

Well, at least unlike season 8, you have to have certain things in place for it to work. Not every team is capable of passing like this.

ITT: serenity is good at clearing out the cobwebs.

I have no idea what that means....

Congrats to Valhalla!

But god damn, this game clearly illustrate the horrible state GLB is in after two years of programming. 125 points in a game between the two very best teams in the game should simply not be possible. It is embarrassing at best. The game (and every game in the World League were the point differential is more than 50 points) should be classified as a bug to be honest.

This game was the cullmination of alloy, and his ability to build a perfect team. The patience that took place for him to not chase sim nerfs/ waste minimal sps into every player/ figure out every meta game matchup - and maximize every player for every down/distance based on build/va'/sa/aeq to build is worthy of everyones respect.

This game was no bug, and after being on the wrong end of a game that we put so much into sucks so bad it's not funny. But the sim is so close to perfect, this is the best sim I have ever been apart of, and I hope people look at why those #s were possible. - the fix to it is easy, and I hope bort and co don't go overboard nerfing passing, the lowering of aeq stacks is going to hurt passing, removing cm would also do a ton, and those 2 things alone could be more than enough to balance the game..

I would def not Say glb Is in a horrible state, that just isn't true

Well said.
Respect to both teams, could have gone either way in overtime.

Agree it was a good sim, but there is a reason both teams passed 70+ times this game because both knew running would be near impossible. Sure,Blaze had decent success this game, but about 80 yards came on 2 carries...The last game between the two really reflects how hard it is to run when two top teams go up against each other like Blaze and Val- a combined 62 carries for 64.5 yards.

I guess it could be both teams have out of this world Run Ds and both teams have atrocious Pass Ds...but no, I won't believe that for a second.

There were 1400 yards in that game and people think it was good?

Speaking just on the passing game, this change: - Bump up PD chance a bit more in double (or more) coverage- was way too weak. Passes in triple coverage should rarely be completed.

I am not talking about game mechanics, strategy, nerfing, whatnot. What I am saying is that when the two best teams score a combined 125 points when they play each other something is VERY wrong. How often have you seen a Superbowl with 125 points?

The power of stacking +%aeq and also a few VAs makes some builds and teams so overwhelming compared to teams who didn't plan for it. Not to mention that they have superior builds without the right aeq/vas and really good gameplanning, DPCs, and AI. Still, i think stern is somewhat right in that if bort gets rid of some of the stupid VAs and also tones down or gets rid of +%aeq all together it would be much better looking. I know it's real uncool or melvin to want to get rid of them, but it's still to the point where most positions it's pretty much a requirement to have 1 of them for next season. There wont' be an HB in all of GLB without breaktackle% or a QB without passquality%. I thought bort didn't want to have things that every single player had to have

But yea, kinda silly how easy passing was for them and how running basically is so impossible neither team even tried.
