No offense to Nascar fans but c'mon. Lets see cars go round and round doing nothing special but making left turns. They all have to meet standard requirements that limits what they can do, so basically your giving each driver the same engine, the same car, the same weight, the same everything just paint each car different with a bunch of shit on it. Whats sad is that Nascar is so boring that most people will say they watch it for the wrecks. Ok so now we have become a nation that gets their jollys off from people burning to death or a tire or motor part flying through the crowd killing a bunch of rednecks. Although I did enjoy the movie Final Destination as I have enjoyed them all.

Can't forget that it lasts for 3-4 hours, the only time you can even see the cars is when their on the other side in person, and you can't even cheer until the last lap and even then no one can hear you. At least in football/basketball you've usually got a good cheering base that in college, that can make the difference.

OK - My two bits...

Archery, skiing, race car driving, diving, gymnastics are all exhibitions and = Me driving home, Longest stool competition, hot dog eating, fingernail growing, oldest man/woman on earth, fattest baby, etc...

I have respect for the skill in most of these but if there isn't a mission and several variables keeping you from it then It's an exhibition. I gotta admit I only consider a few individual events as sports... boxing, wrestling, etc.

Don't consider golf a sport. If I did I'd have to consider darts, bowling, tiddlywinks, shuffleboard, and air hockey

No my fiances mom is in bad shape. My chcick was driving and backed up on the highway and got rammed by a car at 65 mph. Luckily both lived. I posted a couple of picture in my team forum. I will see if I can copy and paste from my BB
