hey back to the XP thing for defense, doesnt that go againstn GLB's strong stance against the rich getting richer? And also, if this game is in fact supposed to be a real simulation, then in theory defenses on the field for longer get more XP, but then again more carries, attempts passing, receptions, attempted interceptions and things like that would also give you more XP, but its all just an interesting thought to me.

This has nothing to do with the rich getting richer or the poor getting poorer. It has to do with HOW they get richer/poorer. It makes no sense whatsoever, that good teams level up their offense at a ridiculous rate and vad teams level up their defense.

It is just plain stupid and unecessary. What we are proposing does not change the current system one iota, in terms of the amount of XP, just ensures that it is distributed equally between the offense and defense.

The current system is weighted much more heavily to the rich getting richer, at the current pace without any modifications the better teams will have unstoppable offense and the bad teams will continue to have QB's that can't complete a pass and RBs who trip over their own feet.

lol - never said it took that to get them fired up just that it adds fuel to the fire already burning out of control at the thought of manhandling your offense

I like the over confidence within the melbourne crew. They havent played anyone up to this point and they are talking shit like they have played the best this conference has to offer. Then they come on here popping off their mouths about how they will drill us and stop our offense. No one has stopped it so far and it aint gonna start anytime soon but my question is how are you gonna consistently score on my defense. You guys have a great team but your over cocky attitudes really take away from how good you really are. Win all of the next 5-6 games and i will gladly acknowledge you as the best team but until then shut the hell up until you beat a worthy opponent.
