alright...we seem to be pretty into analogies lately. What if you spent tons of time training your kid for a sport, let's use baseball. You paid for his training to make him better and bought him the best equipment. Then, instead of getting named one of the little league all-stars, as he should have, he didn't make the cut. This only happened because another kid in the league was allowed to hit three uncontested homeruns against a team that his uncle was coaching...
That's about as close of an analogy as I can think of right now. There are some more real world affects involved, but anything that could be related to this would likely have that going on. Needless to say, I'd be pissed. I'm upset that this happened and I wasn't even going for one of the trophies
Or you could use something like this.
I spent $60 on a copy of Madden this year. I spent $50 to be able to play online on my Xbox. I paid $30 for a controller, and $20 for a rechargeable battery pack. Now, I like to go online and play against people. Sometimes when I play these people they use game glitches on me to win. There is nothing I can do to stop the glitches, and I don't like to use them personally. I could go and RAGE over the glitcher, screaming into my mic and report his to Microsoft, but I have a firm enough grasp on reality to know that it doesn't really matter.
Right, and when you go to the tournament to play the other top seeded Madden players in the world, there's refs, and if you glitch you're given a warning and then you're fucking booted.
Great analogy for GLB and the WL, dumbfuck.
