Last I checked, Madden glitchers get banned or bad rep and no one ever plays with them again.

I'm sure they do, but that isn't really the point. Do I have to reiterate the "it doesn't really matter" point again?

I will.

I think we had 30 pages of people bickering about that earlier. It sounds like a lot of fun, but I'm going to bed. I will leave you with this though, if it doesn't matter, then why do you argue? Think that one through

Well, you see, I have a low self-esteem and am socially awkward. I struggle making friends and people find me to be strange. My awkwardness makes me look dumber than I am. However, I can get online and feel a false sense of confidence. This lovely barrier where I don't have to see you allows me to feel more sure of myself. Because of this, I feel like I should argue until I have been proven right. I get so few wins in real life, I have to take what I get online.

alright...we seem to be pretty into analogies lately. What if you spent tons of time training your kid for a sport, let's use baseball. You paid for his training to make him better and bought him the best equipment. Then, instead of getting named one of the little league all-stars, as he should have, he didn't make the cut. This only happened because another kid in the league was allowed to hit three uncontested homeruns against a team that his uncle was coaching...

That's about as close of an analogy as I can think of right now. There are some more real world affects involved, but anything that could be related to this would likely have that going on. Needless to say, I'd be pissed. I'm upset that this happened and I wasn't even going for one of the trophies

What if that kid also paid for training and the best equipment

Or you could use something like this.

I spent $60 on a copy of Madden this year. I spent $50 to be able to play online on my Xbox. I paid $30 for a controller, and $20 for a rechargeable battery pack. Now, I like to go online and play against people. Sometimes when I play these people they use game glitches on me to win. There is nothing I can do to stop the glitches, and I don't like to use them personally. I could go and RAGE over the glitcher, screaming into my mic and report his to Microsoft, but I have a firm enough grasp on reality to know that it doesn't really matter.

Right, and when you go to the tournament to play the other top seeded Madden players in the world, there's refs, and if you glitch you're given a warning and then you're fucking booted.

Great analogy for GLB and the WL, dumbfuck.

Why do we even need analogies? We have a game people spend money on and care about. Two teams tried to ruin the game for everyone else. They should be punished accordingly and prevented from ever doing it again.

Please elucidate on how, precisely, everyone else had their game experience ruined.

I mean, at the absolute worst one could argue that the individuals who had their game experience "ruined" were the individuals who would have (and still might) walk away with the individual trophies.

And even then, the league leader individual trophies are meaningless, and surrounded by ridiculous stat padding against gutted or weaker teams anyway

So obviously what we need to do is hire refs and then give Haliblack a warning.

Are you even in contention?

I mean, is that what this is about, you really want that trophy?

Holy living fuck dude, breathe once in a while.

What do those have to do with Haliblack v BFM?

So you not caring about individual trophies means that it doesn't matter when that aspect of the game is ruined for those who do? Sorry, that doesn't fly. The simple matter of it is that your team purposefully tried to hurt the game experience for other agents, likely all of whom are paying customers. There is no way you can justify that. Iceman and Chaos Knight couldn't do it earlier. You can't do it now.
