You do know that as a tester, you can't test random stuff just for the heck of it, right?

If you can't figure out how to test minor stuff in the middle of testing larger stuff, then you aren't very good at this game.

In the middle of a zone passing test, you are telling me that you couldn't try out a few different builds at DT and see which one gets the most sacks?

I don't think testing means what you think it means.

We don't test to see which builds are the best, we test to see if there are major bugs in the sim ldo.

I imagine the reason that you'll never be a tester (despite your constant whining to get a pity vote) is that you're a gigantic cunt and they'd rather not have to deal with you internally.

SI for mod is a joke, just like you.

Also, lolmods are supposed to report personal attacks to real mods, aren't they?

Blankspace, get on sending this personal attack to a real mod for banishment please? thanks.

Do you run the AI? I'm sure there are some tester tricks in there also.

And no, Bort has never played the game competitively. His players were jokes on purpose.

Deathblade plays competitively (just won WL).

tpat knocked my SEAPL out of the playoffs with a great screen defense that he hadn't showed all season.

Who knows who all the testers were in the past and how their teams did? The full list has never been released.

GG to the Hoblo guys

You realize that Bort DOES play the game? DD too?

How many shiny cups do they have?

And, I am lost on this one, how many testers do we have on DryHo? Gart, do you know? Cause, I wantz my tester info now pl0x.

And all we have to go by is your word though unfortunately.

Are you saying you didn't learn anything extra from all your testing?

Even Deathblade admits he learned some stuff, but it wasn't that important.

Truthfully, no. I haven't learned anything super secret. I only tested a few games with Basic AI. If I do see something, I post it here:

http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread_list.pl?forum_id=3734

Two threads and multiple post made by me about updates. Go to the game list and see that I only simmed about 4-5 games testing two things. 3-4 games about the new pass block code which was very buggy when it came out, and 1 game was to see if DE's on flat zones will go after QBs if they scramble out of the pocket.

If you don't believe me, check it. Should all be on the first page and nothing super secret about it. You can see the players builds if I remember correctly. So see which DT's get the most sacks.

obviously not.

and like I said, the game is mostly about the builds at this point. The biggest advantages would come from having attributes that no one else has, VAs and SAs that can be proven to have worked the best, and equipment in the right area.

These things can easily be determined though testing on the server, whereas most teams would just have to experiment and if they went wrong, the player is ruined.

OK, so I'm stil trying to figure out how this tester--DryHo thing works. But let's start with the my favorite point: you know that Bort's players are jokes how? Cause you have a direct line to Bort? Test/insider info? Just asking, cause I have, you know, actually played with Bort's players on a team.

How does Gart have insider tester info he's "been using all along?" I mean, anyone can look at the tester iinfo.

Of the people listed, tpat is the only tester. And has no connection to DryHo imo. I suppose, just being a lolGM means I could be wrong, but I doubt it here.

Why would we need Gart's advise for our builds? See, I think DryHo (and other teams for that matter) are successful not when 1 agent/GM/owner is giving out the info, but rather when the agents are already in the know. I mean, there are plenty of agents with shiny cups from outside CPL/WL on Drygerian--think maybe they know what they are doing?

Your screen O sucked. Had I realized you were OC'ing Mekong, you wouldn't have made it out of round 1, but I was sleepwalking because Okinawa was through this season.

Tpat got raped by screens in the CCG, something like 9 for 170 yards, and everybody knew it was coming.

I know you are pretty new to Drygerian also. I'm not pointing fingers at anyone. I'm just saying that the potential is certainly there for any tester to gather extra info.

Certain people have always been above the curve in terms of adding jumping to CBs and carrying to HBs and things like that. Either they were just really good (and perfectly timed) guesses at the time, or someone has extra info.

Even if the attributes for each player were easy to determine (they aren't - you have to fish through tons of crap), it would still be easy to bury a small test inside a large test. Without knowing what you were testing, then there would be no way to know. I don't see individual player settings listed anywhere. Are there any tests on the benefits of aggressive coverage vs semi-aggressive vs medium? Most teams struggle through most of the season trying to decide which is best each year. If I could run 4-5 test games on that up front, it would have helped greatly in the first half of the season. Not to mention that without having a test server, it is pretty hard to get all your DBs on the same page for a 1 game test of a setting.

That was a rhetorical question. Let's try this again based off of the above comments though...
