Preliminary Games & Seeding

Each team will play every other team in that division once, round-robin style, to determine who will obtain entry into the 32-seeded single elimination tournament. The four teams in each division with the highest records after playing every team in their division will advance. Each scrimmage should be scheduled on every third day of GLB. This means that the games must be played by Days 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, and 21. The higher-seeded team sends the scrimmage offer, PMing youngJP90 after sending the offer. If the lower seed does not accept the challenge, they automatically lose that game. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Once the 32 teams have been decided, all of the teams will be re-seeded 1-32. They will then play single elimination games tournament-style until there is only one champion. These games must be be played by Days 24 (JP's 32), 27 (Sweet Sixteen), 30 (Elite Eight), 33 (Final Four), and 35 (Championship). The two teams eliminated in the Final Four round play by Day 35 to determine the third place winner. Again, the higher seed sends the challenge and the lower seed is responsible for accepting the scrimmage. If the lower seed neglects to accept, they automatically lose that game and are eliminated from contention.

Second Place: $30.00

YJP's "Special prize": $10.00
The special prize goes to the lowest-seeded team from the JP's 32 round that makes it into the Sweet Sixteen. This means that if the 32-seed beats the 1-seed in that round, they automatically win $10.00 on top of whatever they might win if they finish 1st, 2nd, or 3rd.

Just make groups now, IMO. Get this off the ground. Smaller groups mean they'll go faster, you can still adhere to the schedule if we miss the day 3 and just start on day 6....
