Not to mention that CBs have it on their menu and are sometimes purely return specialists, I know our longtime returner ILP spent his entire career trying to get that amped up.

It never made sense that superior vision would work on offense or for a kick returner. Nothing in the description indicates that it would work for those kind of players.

Keeping things hidden are good for the game and the forum imo, and even though nobody officially stated it doesn't work on offense or kick/punt returns, you can bet your ass there were plenty of people on this forum other than Bort telling you that it would work.

I was one of those people.

100 miles an hour switching lanes like 'WHOA!'.

This is why I think when you create a player you should have to specify their primary role. And then once you do that... SA's that don't work for that character should be disabled or hidden. Just my .02.

The part that is most open ended is the final part that says "noticing developing plays", that could be interpreted that it helps for returns. Yes it also mentions the word "developing" in the top as it applies to tackles and INTs, but that sentence in itself does not clearly shut the door on it. It would be better if there is just 1 extra sentence that said something like...."Only works on Defense and ST is not considered defense so don't even try or you'll be sorry!".

That is a reach but I do see the angle.

A reach is fine, no reason for anything to have to be a reach, it should just be clear. It also makes sense for offensive players as a reach.

Yeah I posted that suggestion the first week I signed up for the game. Just one of over 100 good suggestions that people have mentioned that would have been fairly easy to edit into the game. ATTRIBUTES TOO, like the whole "tackling for OL players" fiasco.

I thought of something similar. Make branching trees where you need certain attributes/other SAs to unlock more options. that way you don't get players who build 1-2-3-5-10 SAs

lol @ one of those people being me.

I never thought it would work, but everyone was saying it did after Serenity's CB did wonders with it. And now that it's proven wrong everyone but me and a few others looks stupid.

Can I join the club?

Now that would make a good poll, to see what % of people were under the wrong impression!

I know there have been threads on it, I have spent so much time on the forums in the past and I have seen this very issue discussed many times before. Our returner ILP is the one that came up with the idea at first very very early, and at the time I didn't think about adding it for him because I was recommending that he work on the RS skill and the 2 SAs to the left first, but he said he was researching it and found all kinds of support for why it was helpful, so that's what opened my mind about it, and then I also saw many people discuss it over the years all clamoring about it.

I know people in the QB forums talked about SV for AEQ for them. Not something I did fortunately, but I bet you there are QBs out there that have it right now!

And i know WRs have it as well.

I didn't think QBs could roll SV?

I have no idea, all I know is I have seen it discussed. I have a QB and I know other QBs have said something about it, or asked about it from time to time. I've never used it or thought that a boost to vision was needed for a QB build beyond building it manually to a certain number.
