What type of "Youth Work" Matt? I work for a local school system and my day to day responsibilities are to work with their Special Needs children...specifically their Autistic students. I commend you for your service for those that need it the most.

My background involves Child and Youth Worker and Drug and Alcohol Counsellor. I previously worked with the same group of kids you do too. I switched to specialize in addictions and youth. I interned in the States at a 110 bed treatment facility for Behavioural and Problematic Youth as an Addictions Therapist and returned to Canada and have worked in residential group homes for youth for several years at a variety of capacities. I am currently a Supervisor at a Group Home for Behavioural and Problematic Youth where I work frontline.
