I agree....if you look at the pacakes alone on pudding and carlos that is enough right there.

This pro bowl voting needs more structure. One person should get the votes of all 32 owners.

not to mention we barely give up any sack at all or any hurries AND we have one of the best rushing attacks in the both conferences

Oh, you back stabbing.....

Please, ignore him. He knows full well that if there's a whiney, sniveling thread about a fake Pro Bowl and Narsil Badman gets 5 fake Pro Bowl votes, then my contract stipulates that I immediately get bumped up to Vegas whores and Sierra Nevada Pale Ale instead of the Compton crack whores and Old Milwaulkee he's been supplying since the season began.

This Pro Bowl is only slightly less of a farce than the NFL one. Keep it up!

The Dungeoneers didn't give up a sack the whole season and allowed only 5 hurries.
Your line allowed 23 Hurries and 4 sacks. Pancake stats alone are not the sign of a great player. But as a team, the Dungeoneers had 20 more Pancakes than yours as well, so we spread it out over all of our line.

This is why its hard for me to make pro-bowl votes. Many variables and little time to go through them all.

probowl is not about the team though Enkid... pro bowl is about the individual... Joe Thomas wasnt a first time all Pro because of his team... he was because he as an individual was dominant

AP wasnt a first time all Pro because of his team... he was because he as an individual was brilliant

i can go on

My point though is that a probowl caliber player is the player who makes the least mistakes when compared to their individual performance AND where their perfomance is analysed against the quality of their opponents, etc.

So while some guys might have HUGE pancake figures, if they got these because they consistently played for themselves, allowing their QB to be sacked or hurried, then they really aren't a 'star'.

I'd say Bo on the Dungeoneers typifies someone who should receive a pro-bowl vote. Leads the Dungeoneers in Pancakes, and no mistakes. His QB was rarely hurried and never sacked.

I'm going to disregard the restriction for voting from someone from my own team. I'm basing my vote purely off of the numbers/results. In some cases this was hard to come by to make a fair comparison. But I tried to do the best I can. Where possible I tried to take into account a players performance compared to their flubs. (Quarterback Ratings are great as an example of this) thus someone might have had a lot of tackles, but if they had a lot of missed tackles as well, this might count against them. Also, Since some defensive players didn't play much at all, I tried to factor number of plays vs results.

Conference: Alpha

1x QB = This was a tough call. The Leagues QB's were overall pretty mediochre by the QB Rating#. Tommy Gunn02 has an 89.4 Rating and Throw Far has an 86.8. I then compared the teams and Throw Far had to play on a lesser team and yet still performed well. As such I am giving him the vote with Tommy Gunn02 as the backup choice.

1x RB = Sir Walter Sweetness runs away with this. 16 TD's 1 Fumble. Backup would be Sammy Silk.

1x FB = This was a difficult category. Hard to pull out the best back here as a FB has many roles, Rushing, Receiving, Blocking, etc. Looked at each teams guy and tried to determine who was best. This is fairly subjective as I didn't pull the stats and drop in excel. I went with Rosco Coaltrain as #1 and King Hippo as #2

2x WR = I didn't just look at # of receptions or yards, but composite and also factored in TD's vs Drops and fumbles. I favoured players who had been in the conference for the whole season. #1 Nivek Ogre #2 Prime Time Hester

1x TE = Another hard category to judge. Went to each team and grabbed their best TE's. Tried to compare all the stats manually and chose the guys I thought were best representative of the TE position. (Drops, TD's, Pancakes, Y/Reception etc) #1 Alexander Hall, #2 Jack Brickhouse

1x C = This was easy to measure. Looked at Pancakes, Looked at # of Sacks/Hurries allowed by the team. Picked whoever looked to have the best combination. #1 Charlie Horse, #2 Samuel Terrell

2x OG = See Center for what I used to determine quality. #1 Gelaco Bloodstone, #2 Puddin Anthony. (Gelaco shared time with a backup had sizeable pancake #'s, and there were fewer hurries and sacks by a sizable margin. Puddin played most every down and allowed more sacks/hurries)

2x OT = See Center/OG for basic considerations. #1 Carlos Coy, #2 Riian Barry. Carlos's team gave up more sacks/hurries but his number of pancakes was impressive.

2x DT = Tackles are not being favoured as much as Sacks and Forced Fumbles. I could have included hurries as well but it was already a lot of data. #1 LeJuan Ramsey, #2 Brick Shothouse.

2x DE = Sacks, FF, Tackles were my primary considerations here, again sorry for not looking at hurries just too many players to go that deep. With a leaning towards the number of sacks and forced fumbles. #1 Bringen Dahurt, #2 J Pep

3x LB = #1 Big Juggs McGee, #2 Max Deathdealer, #3 Sophia Huhn

2x CB = #1 Leon Tolstoy, #2 Sleazy Christopherson

2x Safeties = #1 FS - Frank Nitti, #2 FS - Alex Hamlo -- #1 SS Jack Hole, #2 SS Buster Upman

1x K = Monoxide Child
1x P = Bobby J

1x KR = Thomas Pynchon
1x PR = Bump Pilfer

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Conference: Zeta (Going to try to use the same measurements as I used for Zeta)

1x QB = With a 92.1 QB Rating Marc-Edourard Vlasic gets the nod. His backup would be my own Johnny 'Flash' Gordon with a 91.9 QB Rating but because he's my player, I'll vote the #3 rated QB Ace Cole with a 83.5 QB Rating as the #2 guy. I do not believe anyone with significant snaps broke the 80's or higher but these three.

1x RB = #1 JJ Jacobson, #2 Saffir Simpson (Speedy had a good showing but had 7 fumbles which was nearly half his TD total)

1x FB = This was a tough category #1 should be Bobby 'Bulldog' Bryce had 10 touchdowns (one fewer than the leading FB Moishe his teammate) but had 17 Pancakes, 49 Broken Tackles, 48 first downs, 4.5 yards per carry. etc. Because he's my own player though, I am voting #1 Moishe Goldfarb and #2 Ronald Gaffin.

2x WR = #1 Javon Pierce while not being a featured receiver, he has 11 TD's one of the highest average yards per reception, Leads in TD's and has only 6 drops. #2 Flying Star who is a reliable receiver, also having few drops to TD's.

1x TE = #1 Reffi Wade, Yes he's on my team, but he's also been outstanding. 7 TD's, 27 Pancakes, good yards per reception. He's been the total package. #2 TE would be Triangle Square. Obama had more TD's but he also had more drops than TD's and lesser blocking numbers than Triangle.

1x C = #1 Bo Rhodes, #2 Flo Giebel

2x OG = #1 Tyried Jackson, #2 would be Oly Svensson but as he is my own player #2 becomes Fat Duck.

2x OT = #1 Pancake Wallace, #2 is my own player Frederick Tate. Normally I would have placed the #3 guy in the #2 spot so as not to vote for my own player but the difference was 41 pancakes and I couldn't see that large of a disparity.

2x DT = #1 Flannery O'Flannery, #2 Two Gap

2x DE = #1 Alanzo Blackman, #2 Thorsten Merlos Horn

3x LB = #1 Buford Singletary, #2 Charlie Parker, #3 Aliwicious Jones

2x CB = #1 Colton Barletts, #2 Frumpkin Washington

2x Safeties = #1 SS Jeff Stiegler, #2 SS Big Woj -- #1 FS Kyle Eberle, #2 FS D.H.

1x K = Gaylon Sisco
1x P = Igot Leg

1x KR = Mark Jenkins (Would be Javon Pierce but he was already nominated for WR)
1x PR = Terence Oldman (Again would be Javon Pierce but he was already nominated)

I will honor the rule of not voting for my own players (sorry Focker). I am also only voting for Alpha players since I have not seen the crappy conference's teams play.

1x QB = Tommy Gunn - I feel yards/attempt is a big stat and he leads in that category and has a great TD/INT ratio.
1x RB = Sammy Silk - A big reason why Scranton is so good. Also won the rushing title by 200 yards!
1x FB = Roscoe CoalTrain - 5 TD's and 9 pancakes. Silk would vote for him too.
WR = Nivek Ogre - impressive average/rec and 9 TD's
WR = Roby Juty - reception leader (87)
1x TE = Alexander Hall - 9 TD's and over 50 rec.
1x C = Samuel Terrell - 112 Pancakes at Center - that is great!
1x OG = Pudding Anthony - fuel's Scranton's running game
1x OG = Jabba D' Hutt - in only 13 games has made Scranton's OL one of the most balanced
1x OT = Carlos Coy - no contest here and another Scranton OL
1x OT = Riian Barry - had to give a OL sport to a non-Scranton player

1x DT = Matt Tusher - Over 50 tackles and has most hurries
1x DT = Brick Shothouse - 6 sacks from DT is impressive
2x DE = J Pepp - 5 sacks
2x DE = Without voting for one of my guys the talent drops so I will go with Adolf Trautlein
3x LB = Bo "The Undertaker" Ruud - tackle leader
3x LB = Joe Header - 98 tackles and 5 FF
3x LB = Big Juggs McGee - great all around LB
2x CB = Sleazy Christopherson - 80+ tackles and 7 int's, and a TD
2x CB = Shu Down - 70+ tackles, 6 int's, and a TD
2x Safeties = Julian Hammer - 97 tackles a seven pass defelections
2x Safeties = Alex Hamlo - 4int's and 8 pass defelections

1x K = who cares
1x P = who cares

1x KR = Bump Pilfer
1x PR = Bump Pilfer

If my boss only knew how much time I waste on this game, LOL!
