I'm usually in support of all positive ideas that would make the GLB that much more enjoyable... but this is a bit disheartening.

A lot of my Rhinos have come from other Pro Regions... so if one is worthy of a spot, but because the play in APL now, it will hurt their chances of being in the Hall of Fame? Really????

If we keep putting up with the "eh, its the APL" then its always going to be like this.
I urge everyone not to participate until we get a little more respect.

ESM is in support of a Boycott should the league decide thats what is to take place. I would like to have my say in the unilateral agreement that we all feel needs to take place, I think its a little noticable that 3-4 of the top long standing APL teams feel that they are in an exlusive club of their own at times... which can be polarizing similar to the other pro leagues not giving Africa any respect.

What I would propose after a boycott (or a settlement on 15) is the formation of a sub-comittee to form a list of 30-40 canidates, produce a poll via a site such as www.polldaddy.com , and then come to an agreement on who gets to vote. Once that is decided the link to the poll should be sent via PM to the list of elligible voters (2 votes per team in APL/AAA perhaps?). Allow each individual who votes to select 15 names, and then take the top 15 vote getters at the end of the voting period as our HoF class.

By doing something along these lines you have a structured and fair format to produce results that can claim legitimacy.

If its accurate then its totally whack.

Didn't APL BEAT SAPL in a tourney this year? And I remember last year we almost won, but still held a respectable record. APL is the third, maybe fourth best league in GLB. Much better than Southwest Asia, WEPL, EEPL...

I agree that Africa would be better off staying out of this thing all to do with rather than submitting to the smack in the face they are proposing.

We've got about half the owners and 7 or 8 GM's in there. Hopefully we can really get the wheels rolling in the next 24 hours.

It looks like it is going to even for every league. We should all be getting 20 now.

Look assface. Let me try and break it down for you. First, I made a witty joke. I am sure it wasn't funny for you because you are so freakin' obsessed with anything and everything about the Legionnaires that making any mention of them prompts some evil conspiracy in your head in order to fill the void in your life when you aren't on one of your delusional rampages.

Second, I pointed out it was a great idea and that I wish I had time to contribute. Look back at the post. Read it carefully. It was a great proposition and it is going to take no small amount of time to put it all together. I read it as keller proposing an idea but didn't see anywhere in it that they were going to do it. If they are, my misunderstanding and there was no intent to slight their capabilities in implementing the idea.

It really is as simple as that. Take off the rose colored glasses, close your copies of JFK and The Catcher in the Rye, and get your meds adjusted so you can participate in conversations in a constructive manner. Your rants are starting to recycle and your hijacking of threads is getting monotonous.
