your wayyyy down the ladder... no further discussion needed.

Mcnair 1 Tack 0

I don't know how this affects your arguments... but you should weigh whose best by how they both competed against the other playoff teams in the division.

How'd you each do against SGA, Windy City, San Jose, Austin, and Nizhny (we don't know which 8-6 team will be in the playoffs, so you'll both have to be content with those 5 games). Anyway, THAT is how you can determine who is the better QB

Well surely over the season everyone plays against the same teams, so they get a chance to prove themselves against everyone no matter the standard?

But if you want to do playoff candidates, SGA 80.5 rating, which I believe is bloody good when you look at how strong the SGA's defence is.

Budapest 121.8
Austin 114.6
Great ratings agaisnt two very strong teams who are making playoff pushes.

Against the LRC 55.9, Tack against us 40.

I am not saying we are the best or anything, I am just saying you are going to struggle to say much bad about LJ's QB play.

It's not as special now that someone else has beaten BHB too.

One game doesn't mean that much when you are beyond it so fast with the other teams in this league. No insult intended to BHB, it was a huge game for us...but we have to move on. ADD and Nebraska demand our attention before we focus on the playoffs.

kunged... it depends on the team... some teams will try to blow out the weak teams, and some will just run the ball a lot to try to keep the score reasonable. If you pass 60 times against Rostov, and they passed 25, do you really feel that it is reasonable to assume total stats make a difference? I do not.

Only your play in big games truly matters. Getting 10 TD and 600 yards passing against Rostov doesn't mean jack to me.

Typing this from my LG Voyager.

Agreed, cherrie. That's why the newer formula does not place as much emphasis on margin of victory as it used to.

Good. However, that should be increased next year as the overall quality of teams should presumably go up. Although the teams being relegated don't look that good right now, lol.

Ok, I take it that you are ignoring the stats that I posted above for the sake of your arguement? I just gave you a handful of stats against good teams, so you can't just brush off my arguement by saying he racked up all his good stats against the "weaker" teams.

Then you could say that LJ has had more attempts, I could say he has more attempts, but has thrown less ints in more attempts, odds would suggest that having more attempts would mean he would throw more ints.

I am not sure if you are perhaps suggesting that I am "running up the score," but I set the tactics at what I believe will give my team the best chance of winning, I am guessing most teams do the same.

Thanks, you guys do too. We wouldn't be where we are as teams with horrible players, regardless of our coaching skills

I have an idea of what might be the difference for this game but I'm not sold it will work. Either way, good luck to you. This has serious meaning in the playoffs and out.

It's very simple.

McNair 88.6 rating
Tack 66.1 rating

No one points out how Manning had a good game against x team but had a bad game against x team.

A good season is a good season.

Apparently ranking them roughly where they actually stand is not respecting them. YOU MUST GIVE THEM THEIR CREDIT SIR POTATOE. To each his..err..her own.
