I think it was all Turner and there Defense. Not that Matt Ryan is a bad QB, and I think he will continue to tear it up. But he had it easy as a rookie. When you have a running game like they did and I believe a top 10 defense in the league, hes gonna do great! I give him mad props. Same with Flacco. His offense wasnt as good as Ryans but still was decent.

I know but it seems like your putting alot of blame on wr and o-line. I flat out just think Russell blows, and to be honest I didnt think he was that good of a college qb either. Id go as far as saying Tebow is better then him. I dont hate Tebow...I like him I have respect for Florida, they never play my team because well...my team sucks and is in the big 12 so Im not hating on that reason. Im hating because I can sit here and say players on teams I like will be good and bad. You cant lol. Just to throw this out too...Harvin is gonna suck in the nfl as well.

I agree Russell isn't very good. He never was great in college and seemed to make mistakes in big games. There is too much love given out in the NFL for a player who can throw the ball 70 yards off his knees. Who cares how strong somebody's arm is if they suck? You saying that about Harvin is just trying to add fuel to the fire. If he stays relatively healthy he can turn in to the next Steve Smith. He plays on a team with the best RB in the NFL, Adrian Peterson, and an excellent WR opposite of him, Bernard Berrian. If the Vikings can get a productive QB, Harvin will have plenty of opportunities to shine because opposing defenses will be stacking the box for the run and rolling coverage towards Berrian.

Definitely no bias here.

Harvin just doesnt seem to hack it in my eyes. If you want to stay on line with your assumptions of qb's being bad because of wrs and oline then Harvin is gonna be bad because he has no qb. He just reminds me of a Dante Hall or that idiot on the Bears. Having a brain fart here and dont feel like looking it up. He could be a good kr and pr but i just dont see him putting up big receving numbers.

How is that bias? It is the truth. You should try watching more football. Maybe then you would realize it's been proven that when Tebow is pissed he takes control of football games. Saying he is possibly the greatest college football player isn't biased either! I didn't say he definitely is the greatest player or that I think he is the greatest. I said possibly. Without a doubt he is one of the greatest. Calling him the #1 greatest player, I did not. There is plenty of proof to back that he is one of the best in college football history. When it's all said and done he is going to be 2nd on the SEC's all time passing TDs and 1st on all time rushing TDs. Suck on that for a bit. I didn't even mention the ridiculous amount of trophies, championships, etc he has won. You would have to be retarded to think Tebow isn't one of the greatest college football players ever. It is quite possible that you fit this description

If he put up similar numbers to say Reggie Bush, would you consider him a quality player? He's nothing like Dante Hall, so please never make that comparison. Hall is strictly a return man. Harvin didn't even return kicks or punts. He will probably be utilized some as a return man in pros, but he hasn't done so yet. Comparing him to Hester isn't correct either. Hester is a return man who just started playing offense. Harvin knows how to run routes, block, has excellent hands and has a great feel for offense. Not to mention he can make plays out of the backfield too. He's been playing as a WR since high school, where he was the #1 ranked player. He will be a much better offensive weapon than either of the players you named.

Sure if he put up numbers like Bush I would consider him a quality players, just not really this seasons Bush. Im just saying in Pros people get switched around, and tried out at other positions. He could do some returning. And Im not really comparing him to Dante Hall or Devin Hester, but Im saying he could have there roles, and not alot of return people put up offensive numbers. Only time will tell if he will be good or not.

Agreed. I think he will get some returns in the pros just because he will be new and they want him to touch the ball and see what he can do. And you're right, only time will tell. I wish that time would hurry up and get here because I want football to start!!!!

Does he crap thunder and piss lightning. Come on nothing you are saying is anything more than your man crush bias revealing itself. What's stupid is you can't admit that have a clear and obvious bias to the dude.

You know what's funny is his numbers are very similar to Alex Smith although Alex did it in two less games. So maybe we should back off the greatest player ever when his numbers are comparable to Alex Smith.

Seems a bit odd that post speech never topped 217 yards passing. Wow, sign me up for that kind of arm. He runs a gimmick offense and has a questionable arm which isn't just the opinion of Kiper but pretty much everyone who watches him. Take off those Gator glasses and watch the player. If Tebow was on any other team he would be just another player.

Comparing Tebow to Alex Smith now I see? Why? Because they had the same coach?

Alex Smith went undefeated and his passing stats were comparable to Tebow's but so were a lot of other top QBs so I don't understand where your basis for argument is?

Tim Tebow - 32 TDs, 6ints, 9.4 ypc, 66.9% completions
Sam Bradford - 36 TDs, 8ints, 9.2 ypc, 63.1% completions
Todd Reesing - 33 TDs, 7ints, 7.8 ypc, 61.9% completions

That was the year he won the Heisman, when he had comparable passing stats to other top QBs.

Oh yeah, he also had 895 rushing yards, 23 TDs,

He didn't top 217 yards passing after his speech (which is incorrect) because Florida's running game exploded. Meyer didn't call as many passing plays because no one could stop the run. However, he did pass for 231 yards in the NC game, I'm sure you remember that one, he also had 109 yards rushing. When you have 4 OTHER GUYS (not Tebow) that are averaging over 7 yards per carry then you really don't need to pass a whole lot. I thought you understood how football works but I guess your one-sided mind can only believe what paid "professionals" say like Mel Kiper.

He had plenty of past games where he topped 217 yards passing so just because he only did it once after his famous speech last season doesn't mean jack other than the fact that are obviously a douche that only believes what the media feeds you.

What is everyone's problem with Tebow anyway? Just because Alex Smith was a bust doesn't mean Tebow is going to be. Alex Smith didn't play in the SEC, Alex Smith didn't play in the spotlight and microscope his whole college career like Tebow. Tebow has done everything anyone has ever asked of him. He wins games, he is a great leader and he is unstoppable.

I guess everyone will just have to wait and see what happens, but until then you guys have no argument. You can try of course though.
