As almost everyone realized, this was merely a joke. A way to pass the time in this long ass pre-season. Now it's on to important things like VA, SP, D-play creator, etc. Glad there was some fun for a few and I'm glad to have Outlawz on as a GM (even if he is selling our secrets off to everyone
). Also being a GM on ASM is quite enlightening. It's actually pretty funny that we decided to do the GM swap thing the day before the schedules came out and wouldn't 'ya know we end up facing each other Game 1 (Bort must be reading this shit laughing his ass off).
It is true I am an Honorary (i.e. useless) GM on a lot of other teams, mostly PRO teams. It's also true I have at least one of my 30 personal players on one of those teams, and those team owners also have player(s) on LOL. I seriously doubt sharing info (builds, tactics, ideas, etc) is considered "cheating", or "not in the spirit of the game" as at least one of the owners in APL thinks. Personally I'd say it's about 75% of the PRO teams have some sort of "sharing" going on, with at least 95% of the "top" PRO teams doing it as well. If you can do it on your own and are happy with it that way, more power to 'ya imo. This is more of a social thing for me tbh. I suck at tactics, OC, DC type stuff in all honesty (everyone on LOL will attest to this as I've tried both believe me). The one thing I can do is "network" and recruit and have a good time getting to know a lot of people. It only makes sense to me to do what I'm good at and have fun that way.
