And what's this mess about being innocent? What did i say that was wrong? Have you proven anything other than the fact that you don't look at the facts when deciding your 'power rankings'?

I dont really want to involve myself to much in this debate but...

l4boMb4 if you do not like bears Power Rankings then why dont you come up with your own using your own systematic approach. Bears rankings are his opinion and his approach, why dont you come up with your own rather then crapping on his.

Bears I hope you continue to put in the work with your rankings, it makes things funner for the league (whether your fully correct or not). Its absolutely impossible to please everyone

Man look, It's pretty damn clear that if a team beats a team one week, then FOR THAT ONE WEEK...they shouldn't be below that team....especially if they've beat similar teams worse, or if they've lost to similar teams less.

Simple. Easy greasy. I don't see why you have such a hard time in admitting that you got something wrong.

i appreciate your rankings bears. i realize it is just your opinion and that's what makes it entertaining. are you really going to stop making them?

l4boMb4 if you dont like what he has your team at then theres only one thing you can do...and that is to Win every game. If you win every game then he wont have a choice but to put you up in the top. Whether he feels your team is still not better I dunno thats up to him. I havent really looked into it that much but Im not going to argue with him over his opinion.

i didn't crap on them. Jesus people. The same thing has been said in previous 'power ranking' threads and no one got bent out of shape when someone disagreed w/the almighty 'Bears Rule'.

Its just because i'm a 5-7 team owner that this shit even hit the fan. How dare a 5-7 owner talk common sense.

Really people, go back and read this from the beginning. I never dumped on his effort, just his method to achieve his result. I enjoy the power rankings and mid all-americans like everyone else.

You still dont realize that the rankings are HIS opinion, if he wants to screw your teams position then he has ever right to do so. If he wants to screw the team Im on then he has the right to do that too. If you made rankings and screwed my team im on I wouldnt complain to you because I know they arent official.

Bears Rule stated that the only reason to make the Power Rankings and such was to 'create a little spice' in our league.

Surely he didn't make this just so he could get 'well done' from everyone in the league. Surely he doesn't want people riding his jock and fighting his battles for him, especially since he hasn't even mentioned his reasoning behind his reasoning. I have no problem with HIS opinion, i just would like to know what brought him to HIS opinion. Is that so terrible?

A little insight? He made this public for a reason. So we could talk and debate, right? Why can't i debate and have my opinion w/out people preaching about HIS opinion...i'm well aware of what his opinion is. I actually stated why i thought my opinion was better, but all some of you others can do is merely state that it is, after all, HIS opinion. Where's the logic in that, aka...what was his logic? Why is that so hard to answer. It's his thread, his rankings...he should know them better than anyone and he DEFINITELY should know WHY he placed each team where he did. I was just asking for clarification. Is that so tough?

You can talk all you want about his opinion, in fact you can talk about it until your pet hampster gets a job. Doesnt mean its going to change anything

Edit: I dont get where you saying that I told you that you CANT talk to him about it? Its late so I might not remember but if you can find a quote where I said that you cant then I will drop it. You might want to try actually reading my posts, and just because people are agreeing with him and saying "good job" doesnt mean they are riding his jock. Those people are actually appreciating the time he took to do that. Your the only owner getting your panties in a bunch over them, and just because you like them doesnt mean he has to explain a damn thing to you about them.

the difference is...I would have told you why i screwed your team. I would have told you why i felt your offense or defense was sub-par. why can't people see what i'm trying to say?

I don't want it to CHANGE anything...i just wanted a little inkling to what his rational was. He had ample time to give it instead of making bunk analogies about me beating the LUES 10 OUT OF 10 TIMES.

EDIT: If you read my post greg, you would have seen that i was more than appreciative of the time and effort that Bears Rule puts toward these rankings.

I do get what your saying, why cant you understand what Im saying and that is....I wouldnt give a damn about a reason why your screwing my team. I know what my team can do and I dont need some freaking power ranking to show that.

we're going in circles. This a power rankings thread where he wants to discuss his power rankings. I discussed why i thought his rank regarding the LUEs was screwy. All he could do was tell me that my opinion was crap because i was a 5-7 team. That wouldn't get you testy in the slight bit? I never attacked him, i just wanted a reasoning behind it...and all i got was more 5-7 team doesn't matter jargon.

I am having trouble seeing a Hammond team that high with Superior and Doomsday so much further down. IMO, I don't understand the reticence to drop down teams in the other conference based upon multiple losses and losses to multiple loss teams. No hard feelings ya know, I just am not seeing something.

Just glad we did work early on and just lost in a squeaker. The brutal schedule comes full circle from this point forward for the others.

Everything i said was within the scope of the purpose of this thread. I'm the jackass because i say something that makes sense vs. someone that makes stuff up once he's past the top 10?
