i will just say that i lost a little respect for the Winemakers after watching the game, we too knew of this exploit and that the run game was too powerful this season, but we still choose to stick with what we do, pass, believe it or not but if MC did do that to the winemakers it'd be a close game despite what most think, depending on who has the ball last it may even be a 1 score game

I am willing to test that theory.

actually i dont think so, one of my other teams when up against a team in the playoffs that tried the exploit, and we shut them down, and ended up winning by 10, and we were pretty even. We would still kill mc, they may not get shut out again, but we would win by atleast 20-30, it normally would be more but that style of play really eats the clock.

i do think mcrg would do a lot better, but i dont think defensively they could have slowed our running game down. it would definitely be a lot closer, which shows the strength of the play and the weakness of the ai system as a whole.

ive talked to all parties involved, and expressed my feelings on the subject. i will never apologize for doing what it takes to win a game that big, but what i will apologize about is that i deprived my team the chance to show its true strengths, that i deprived jacksonville the chance to be able to show their true strengths, and that i deprived everyone in the league a chance to watch what would have definitely have been a fun, entertaining game that would have probably been a great one.

i understand why some people here are mad at me and mad at my decisions. i hold myself to a high standard and i lowered my standards yesterday. i can only hope that i will be able to act in the future in a way that is acceptable to myself.

Completely incorrect.

That team did not run the exploit. They tried but they failed to do it correctly which let you off the hook.

In the one drive I saw they ran the I, strong I, strong I and goalline.

On the two strong I plays they gained 6.5 yards and the other two netted 2. Had they ran strong I slam all 4 times you would not stopped them.

As for the game I am guessing that unless you could cause and recover fumbles you don't win by more than 7.

bahah south park.

anyways i read a lot( probably to much) of this and i just wanted to point out that yes we ran it a shit load and yes people call it an exploit, clearly just upset and mad. we lost one game all season? no matter how we win someone will say something about it. what if we ran hooks all day and went 70/1 passing to running? then you guys would say that cheap. the only way you wouldnt complain is if we won by doing 50/50 with even touchdowns and maybe a kick return for a TD to. so much complaining. not enough time worried about how to stop Cupp and Crash... jesh

sorry i feel like ranting since everyones doing it. anyone notice we have a lvl 33 Qb? compaired to a pair of high lvl 30 rb's who are nicely built. and on top of that we have the D to hold teams to minimal points? so RB and better then QB. and you have a D that can hold teams to a low amount of points. any coach in his right mind would see that it screams ball control style gameplan. were bigger and stronger. why would we try to pass and dance around? mind you our QB has a very nice arm on him as many teams know by now. once the teams we play even out a bit then any smart person would go with their strengths.....i cant believe people are even complaining....

your missing the point, i thought you read alot but yet you cant comprehend what people are saying, they're not mad you ran the ball 70 times, they're mad you run the same excat play that is known to be an exploit 70 times, that what every1 is pissed about, i've known about this play all season, but using it to win wouldnt really be winning, would it?

You're entitled to complain about the Winemakers latest win. Just know that I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain why we have the freedom to call those plays, especially to someone who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said 'thank you' and went on your way. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think you're entitled to!!!

Here's hoping all future comments in this thread come in the form of movie quotes

I wish I could tell you that Jacksonville fought the good fight, and Lyon ran a normal offense. I wish I could tell you that - but GLB playoffs are no fairy-tale world. He never said he was mad about it, but we all knew. Things went on like that for awhile - playoff life consists of routine, and then more routine. Every so often, Kaelin Gales would show up with fresh bruises. Lyon kept at him - sometimes he was able to fight 'em off, sometimes not. And that's how it went for Jacksonville - that was their routine. I do believe those first two quarters were the worst for him, and I also believe that if things had gone on that way, this place would have got the best of him.
