so when people found out how to get more training points than allotted to them, that was ok?
Or SPs?
Those were exploits so I guess those were ok too?
99% of people didn't know about the training points bug. Everyone knows about the slam. Big difference.
no it's not. an exploit is an exploit regardless of who knows about it.
what kind of logic is yours?
My logic that their is a big difference between blatant cheating and using an "exploit" that everyone knows about. The slam is part of the game. It may be overpowered but its part of the game none the less.
It's like if we were playing a first person shooter and you complained because someone used a rocket launcher instead of a pistol.
well, that explains it. your ability to form an analogous situation is terrible, which would correlate to your inability to form good logical coherence.
For starters, the rocket launcher usually makes players slower in moving around as well as longer to re-load and other negative effects, so there is a cost vs benefit measurement going on.
You know what it's more analogous to? spawn killing. it's an exploit everyone knows and yet it's looked down upon.
you say one is blatant cheating and the other isn't, yet you give no real reason why you categorize them differently. They're both exploits.
So in your world spawn killing is the same as hacking the game and making your guy have 5 times as much health as everyone else?
no one hacked anything. Do you know what hacking is?
They exploited a bug. Spawn killing is also exploiting a bug. They are logistically the same.
you only want to pretend they are not for the sake of your argument. hell, I don't even know why you're defending it when you didn't use it.
