This is about where I'm at. I'm sorry to see you guys go KNR but I understand where you're coming from. Before last season we landed a top notch QB so I brought in a 5th WR and tried to build a West Coast style balanced offense. It didn't do much for us. We happen to be a team that also always wanted to be able to run a power game when necessary, so we happened to have a quality power back and that's what's kept us competitive. I want our team to keep building for a passing game and elusive running, though, b/c almost certainly we'll have seasons ahead of us where the powerback is nerfed and the passing game or agility run game is king.

At least the "quitters" aren't blaming the economy. That one is getting old....

I don't see that as a good thing though, the "a whole new game every season" is the thing that is killing the game for most people

agree. It would be nice to build on things from season to season as opposed to trying to undo what you done to be competitive in the flavor of the month.

you were talking about quitting mid season and that is what we responded to, we have no intentions of quitting until the season has played out. I don't really care what you think but the sim has had issues for seasons and I'm done putting money into a game that has gotten worse instead of getting better.

Whatever...The sim has had issues in APL for every season except 6, maybe playing in AA didn't have you see that.....Sorry I didn't come up with the exact day you would quit...Still quitters IMHO

like I said I don't really care what you have to say and if you call not wanting to continue to pour money and massive amounts of time into an online football simulation that clearly has a long way to go and no real direction for improvement than whatever, you go and have your fun continuing to own a team and having your hard on for the fact that you still somehow in African Pro. I'm glad that I have better things to do than sit on the forums and make a scene about how my team may get demoted when nobody gives a crap. This game has become a time vampire and I just don't have as much time to put into it anymore and I play the game to have fun and owning a team just isn't fun for me anymore so why should I continue to do so?

Pretty much this. Anything that worked got nerfed. The sim itself has not really improved or even changed that much, just the way players work or donīt. Fundamentally wrong approach.

I really have to disagree with this. I think Bort should shoulder most of the responsibility, people will always complain, that's just the way it is. But Bort needs to make better decisions on direction and development of the game. No one made him do any of the changes, he made changes when he didn't have to. For every thread that people complained about stuff (there are a lot of valid complaints as well as whinning ones), there are always some voice of reason in those threads. Bort need to step up, can't hide behind "this is a beta" or "I do this I lose, I do that I lose" excuses.

Season 9 will be a break or make season for Bort, if there is no significant improvement made to the sim, a lot of the people will not be continuing spending money on this game. Heck a lot of people are no longer spending anymore, more and more people will choose to retire people for flex rather than buying them.

That is sad though waiting around for something to be nerfed and something else take over as being the dominant part of the game. I think Bort has already got us conditioned to expect this sort of stuff....But...I keep hearing "It Still says Beta" "It Still says Beta"....Fuck Beta....it's been a year now, how long are they going to use that crutch. But I understand though...the new team that has already been built as we like to call KNR v2.0 has every damn exploit covered. We will have it all from a Running QB to a Power back and Special teams built only players to a specialized PR/KR. That way we can weather any nerf on our way back up.

I'm still pushing for the Olinemen to all have 61 in jumping but bengal won't have any of it...
