on a more serious note, because all of you assholes keep derailing my threads, there have only been 3 ballots submitted so far this week. i dont mind organizing all of the votes, but after 20ish votes from last week to go to only 3 this week means clearly this isnt worth doing. if more people dont send in their ballots i'll call it a day on this venture.

im agreeing with this, i dont think this is necessary. its also clear from looking at some of these ballots that a few of the people here really dont put any time into it, which is a shame.

good experiment, unnecessary to continue.

5 ballots so far, not worth compiling.

It's a shame in that it is a good idea but a lot of people are just not dedicated.

You should name names.

Agreed! I enjoyed the first one. Just use the ones that were given!

It isn't worth it with just 5 teams. I would call out the others so I can make him.

I bet Jascozier is one of them.

this week 9 ballot was nice, because a lot of people participated, outliers' importance was reduced by the sheer volume of ballots, which is how something like this has to work to be successful. with only five ballots, there is no statistic backbone to this, and it cant possibly reflect how people think the teams should be ranked, because there is no way to expose any outliers in the group. maybe if i try this again in a few days it will work better.

also i figured id give you guys an update here, tomorrow i will be doing my final power rankings of the regular season. for week 12 through the end of the season i will switch from power rankings to playoff projections, because it is at this point in the season where subjective analysis like power rankings needs to give way to objective analysis of the nitty gritty of where i think teams will end up on the playoff spectrum.

Considering the circumstances of their only loss, mainly, keeping up with Knights despite the -2 turnover margin and having better yard average per play in that game, on top of having a new OC and the likelihood of improvement in their offense as the season progresses, lends me to believe that the Winemakers will have the advantage, if there is a rematch with the Knights in the playoffs."

*raises hand* I thought I recalled someone mention it during the early part of the season. I might look over the forum and try to find.
