I will tell you this, I have known tremele on here, for many seasons. He is a great guy, I have given him total control of the team, he has done a great job of getting all the players together, bringing in great GM's, and helping the mafia in building up the stadium. He likes to joke around a lot, but believe me, he only does it to stir up the forums, and get more players involved, to bring some life to the forum.
Joke around? Who's joking? Nah, in all seriousness I'll put an explanation of what all went down.
Early Midwest Mafia
Early season 2 I joined the game and shortly thereafter crazyeric got a team. He recruited me on his team and the original Midwest Mafia was in a tough SEAAA league when all we had were level 4s and we couldn't ever get quite get over the hump. Eric decided to sell the team because it was a lot of work to build up a gutted team in a tough conference.
Mannheim Jaguars
Season 3 I got my team (Mannheim Jaguars), I recruited haleykrl on to my team and had crazyeric also. We recruited a great team and had some good years. After season 6 we still haven't moved up to AA (there were some really great teams in Western Europe 6), we decided to go another route. Most of our players were 5 seasons old, and the chances of us getting to the pro-leagues with our players would be pretty hard. At this time, we thought after season 10 they would decline rapidly. So instead we decided to slow build our players for a couple of seasons and then go after winning again. However, we were just going to do this with the agents we trusted and know. So all of us created a bunch of slow build players for the Midwest Mafia, Toronto Red Devils, and Mannheim Jaguars for season 7. Well after that season Eric and I lost a lot of interest in the game, it was just sickening to see the amount I paid for a game that I was losing a lot of interest in.
So then for season 8 I decided to just sell the Mannheim Jaguars to sandman11 because it really wasn't an interest of mine anymore. I didn't just want to sell it back to GLB, so an agent I trusted would be the best thing.
Toronto Red Devils
This is haleykrl's team. He got his team in season 4, it was also a gutted team. haleykrl is the best recruiter I've ever seen, he built that team up with little help from no one. Since he helped me, I decided to play for him also. The 2nd season after being gutted the Toronto Red Devils made the playoffs. Pretty big achievement if you ask me. He recruited one guy (drpdean) who was just a great addition. He provided GM support for haleykrl as I also did too. At the time of the Mannheim Jaguars' decision to rebuild, Toronto decided to go a different route also. Instead we were building a slow build team of just haleykrl's and my guys for this team. It was just a project we were going to try. But, again since I lost a lot of interest with this game I decided to bail on haleykrl. At the end of season 7.
Toronto Red Devils will be going competitive again next season, with a lot of our younger players we decided to keep.
New Midwest Mafia
Like I said earlier, our plan was to be a slow build team for the future. Well after a lot of decline in interest, Eric and I retired about 100+ guys together. Just wasn't there anymore, more so for Eric than me. So he was just going to sell the team and quit the game entirely. We decided that between the 4 agents; drpdean (GM and player for Toronto Red Devils), haleykrl (Owner of Toronto Red Devils and player for everyone), sandman (Met him on a rival team after I changed the Jaguars, and he just cracked us all up. Great DC), and myself (Ignorant ass). If you look at all of our players its just us 4 agents using our older players on one team.
So this is where we are with the team. You can believe me, or not. Frankly, I could care less.
I talk to these guys on a daily basis, they've become pretty good friends of mine and this is how everything went down.
Also, like Eric said. I only talk shit in Southeast Asia because the forums are so dead. So to liven it up, get everyone pissed at you. Works like a charm.
They came talking how great they were. I just wanted everyone to be aware at what price that greatness was bought.
