Exactly, all I am doing is running last years AI's to see what has changed since last season in the sims. Why screw up the baseline, you go putting in a brand new AI, you cant exactly judge against the baseline.

Exactly, about a third of our team has boosted, isnt exactly crucial right now...

We have a new quarterback and receiving corps which we are not sure how that is going to work out. New OC and DC so we are in find our way mode right now. Give us until about 3/4 of the way then we should make a little noise. A couple of DA7 teams scare me a little, and the West is stacked again. Should be an interesting season.

Sure, any individual scrimmage doesn't mean crap. Maybe even 2-3 don't mean anything. But the contention was that 7-8 teams in the East are contenders. When you look at the scrimmages of the teams all mentioned, 1 or 2 of them won? Statistically, that says something.

Remember that no gameplanning goes both ways - the West teams probably didn't game plan either. And I'm not calling out any individual team - I'm merely looking at the win-loss record of the group of teams mentioned as a whole.

Well, personally, the 3 teams I am looking at is Fulton County (they arent going to pose in a scrimmage, and have me look past them), Lincoln, and Texas. Jax Beach will be back to 100 when we play them too (unless they make more moves). But, the ones I listed earlier are the ones that need strong attention paid too. Sure, look past them.... if you dare...

Ok, things seem to even up with the second round of scrimmages for this group of teams between east and west - remember, this is the eight teams you listed as possible contenders. First round of scrimmages, those eight teams won two games. Second round, it get's split - they won half of them. Out of those 16 games, they have 6 wins total - and half of those wins are against teams that have last more than half of their last 16 games.

Admitted, some of the West's wins are against eastern teams who have had similar loss records. But I'm looking at all this because in your original post you say three eastern teams who could be contenders, but you mention eight teams as possible contenders.

From my viewpoint, after the first two rounds of scrimmages, Eastern conference has 2-3 contenders while Western has 5-6 contenders for the league championship.

So while I won't talk shit about my team winning the whole thing this season, I will say that I'm pretty confident it will be a team from the West who does.

CPU is the only team in the West, (except Houston), that I am NOT looking forward to playing. Tough looking squad.

Look the Tarheels learned a lesson last season. We went 14-2 in the regular season, ended Cleveland's long winning streak and then died in the end. Some of the teams we beat last season are in AA now. Like I said in our earlier post we are just trying to get a feel of our new additions. We have not gameplanned at all this preseason and it shows. We have learned the hard way it doesnt matter about preseason or regular season. It is all about the playoffs. Our goal this year is the playoffs, we care about the regular season for seedings in the playoffs, but it is not our main focus as it has in seasons past. We have a few holes that we are trying to plug and then we will see who the best of the best really are.

So track em, Tarheels made moves and are recovering, same with Jax Beach. I dont need to justify antyhing, let the records speak for themselves... only time will tell.

it would definetly be a big surprise. the cougars havent gameplanned either. although we havent played anyone in the scrimmages that needed it i dont believe.
