Well i don't know if you were referring to the lower tier leagues, but elephant has been the stronger conference pretty much every season of aa3's existence. The only reason it is weaker this year is because all of the high level elephant teams have moved up while some high level lion teams still haven't been promoted.

No the reason why elephant is weaker this season is because you have 2 teams slow building and another 3 teams with multiple starters in the high 20 lvl range, so that automatically gives everyone else in elephant 5 easy/cupcake W's. We dont have that at all in Lion. That's what we are referring to. So someone who finishes 13-3 in elephant is no better than a 8-8 in lion since you have 5 gimmies you dont even have to gameplan for to win. Now that is the FACTS!

So basically what your saying is the top tier teams in our conference cant matchup with you guys over there...just because we have a few teams that are horrible.

So if you play in a weak conference you arent as good as a team in a better conference that played just as even as you did?

Example...Memphis basketball.
They play in CUSA but yet they dominate. So they arent allowed to be considered a top team in the nation because of the teams they play.

Thats horrible insight...and yoru facts are a little twisted.

That's what 8-8 in LC means, genius. They'd be better than half the teams in LC (and worse than the other half).

The fact is LC is considerably more balanced and competitive both last season and this season (unless teams go CPU or slowbuild after the season starts). This was the same in Africa A#6 as well.

Obviously there are cases where the top team in EC is the best team (ala E'ci last season), but I'm talking as a whole.

It's no secret that every win a team has in LC will be hard fought while good teams in EC have several cupcake opponents. It's not your fault or anything, but it's clear to everyone that your records will be inflated as a result.

Never said your top tier teams couldnt match up with ours! Just said that you have at least 5 really weak teams making your top tier teams records skewed. So yes its a hell of a lot easier to make the playoffs "this" season in elephant than lion. That is all that I said, no derog toward the top tier teams.

and to got back to your thought process, Boise State's football team was undefeated last season and didn't break the top 10 in rankings because they played in a weak ass conference ( i.e. elephant) even though several of the top ten teams had losses!! THAT IS A FACT!

and University of Hawaii the year before went undefeated in a weak conference keeping them ranked outside the top teams with losses.

***Both teams did lose their Bowl games since they played against a higher caliber team from a stronger conference. AGAIN, FACT

I think it is important to note that promotion doesn't equal success to a particular conference. For example, we whipped Wachootoo twice last season and also beat Chad convincingly. We are still here...they were promoted. Ghani Ashanit beat Wachootoo as well...still here.

Last season I think it was safe to say that although the champion came from Elephant, Lion was the overall tougher conference to play in.

Exactly. The LC had more high level teams to begin with...

Saying a 13-3 team in Ec equals 8-8 in lion is a blind prediction.

You have no way of knowing if they would win some games against the better teams over there.

True, but for that matter we can't predict 5 or so guaranteed wins for quality LC teams either.

Exactly...so theres no need to evne begin debating how one team would do in the other conference.


I know that there most likely wont be any undefeated teams this season, probably not even a 2 loss team...should be competitive.

Should be interesting to see how the preseason voting turns out.

I'd hardly call beating Wachootoo by 8 in the regular season and 7 in a scrimmage "whipping them twice"
