You are full of excuses. 1 section added? It's kind of hard to see exactly how old you are, but it looks like this is at least about to be your 3rd season in A and you lost 9 games 2 seasons ago. We built 3 sections before our first season ever started.

You're really wasting my time with this argument. I tried to help. You're problem begins with finances and ends with excuses. Best of luck to you.

It would mean something to me as a coach when my team couldn't afford to upgrade all their equipment. Every point counts, especially past the soft cap. If you don't think finances matter, then it is your team that will suffer.

I guess I always assume teams are trying to be the best every year, not wait around for 2-3 seasons for all the good teams to leave and then try to beat up on the lower level teams that move up, but to each his own.

I haven't claimed a victory over any teams yet. Maybe you're referring to someone else. We'll do well and make the playoffs this year, we'll lose some games along the way, but we'll knock off lots of teams that out level us as well.

Maybe your team does have amazing builds. We'll see since you shouldn't lose one all year as high as you are in levels, right?

Good luck to you as well. These guys were spewing a bunch of garbage to Otis and making excuses and I got tired of reading it. I tried to suggest focusing on finances, but I guess that was lost on a team that does no wrong. These guys are taking everything way too personal. I wish your team success, but I don't see you team lasting too many season without developing your stadium.

Robelder is a very candid guy. He does know what he's talking about and he's not shy of giving his opinion to anyone. You'll get used to him.... lol or you'll retort over and over again back and forth in the forums since there's no way to stop the arguments there's really no point in continuing... unless you like to argue. This same argument happens in every league every season. The new guys are always ripped up and told how under qualified they are to be in a league that's full of people that weren't relegated or promoted.It's always fun.. and funny to read the first couple weeks of posts, but in the end everyone USUALLY gets along.

While I fully expect us to have a winning season I do not expect us to win it all. I do think you'll see us in the play offs though.

As for "staying around to beat up on teams", well thats just fucking ridiculous, we've just turned 2 years old and had our first competitive season last year, were in many ways a surprise package last season and were consistently rated as underdogs for games against the top 6 yet still did very well. (I mean, have a look at the old posts, you'll see it all there). There's no excuses there, we got beat by good teams who deserved to win, and if we did move up to AA right now we'd get crushed.

So again, these silly accusations that we're outlevelling everyone and staying around to rack up points and rub it in peoples faces is just nonsense.

I plan on us being a top 4 seed going into the playoffs and that is with us being out leveled in nearly every game of the season. If we win 2 games in the playoffs, we'll probably be promoted because so many teams move up and down each year now. I think that is something we can accomplish, but we'll see. My first goal is to secure a home game in the playoffs.

I'm not saying that people who don't get promoted are making excuses, just to clarify. I am saying jumping on the forum and going on and on why you haven't been promoted is making excuses. Just say, we weren't good enough or we plan to do better.

Well if you take out a loan each offseason you should have 3 million in 2 years. That adds up to 3 corners sections and you have one corner. That is assuming you didn't make one dollar during the year, which you should have. Minimum, before this offseason, even with higher level players you could have around 4-5 sections if you didn't pay bonuses.

So if you haven't taken one bonus or payed any equipment, somebody is stealing.

tahl, you're right. Some days I'm very opinionated. What really got me was that I felt Chute Box was being trashed because they just promoted and I decided to jump in and dish a little bit back. I'm very proud of their team and ours and would have loved to have seen Blitz and the Lizards here competing this season. This league is going to find out, that the guys promoting from BBB may be 4-10 levels lower than everyone else, but we're still going to be in the playoffs and will probably knock off some of these super high leveled teams in this league. They can disrespect us for having younger players, but we did earn the right to promote and the guys here for the past few years have not and that is saying something since so many teams promote and relegate each season.

If you don't win a game, or get promoted, or any of that...don't you physically HAVE to have a reason you didn't? Therefore, have excuses?

Would you rather people say, well we won, but it said we lost!

Honestly, it's good to see someone with the fire to win. But there's fire...and then there is stupidity. This league was insanely competitive last year and that was with most teams rated rated 51 for most of the year. With your whole team at the bottom or even below the recommended level, if you honestly think you are going to make the playoffs, AND get a home playoff game, you better be ready to have shit thrown at you constantly if and when you fail to do so.

Just for the sake of clarity I never made any excuses for not moving up, infact if you look back you'll see that I said we were fairly beaten and in any case would probably have preferred not to move up because the way the leagues are structured we'd be fucked (case in point the Outlaws who have high levels but didnt manage to survive).

To my mind all I have done is refute some rather silly accusations of us being overlevelled / only here to beat up on lower levels / bad builds / have no clue what were doing / bad AI / lost loads of games / sucker agents / crappy team / no direction / are failures / My TE's build is bad, my stats are rubbish.

See now thats quite a list, and its all taken from your guys posts. I'm sure if you go back and read mine properly you'll see I haven't actually said anything derogatory about your team's players (although certainly your agents!) at all.
