They have isolated the plays that work best for them, which is great, but they get away with using the same thing over and over because their players are that good. They have no reason to change their gameplans until the sim punishes predictability. Basically the GLB sim is stuck in the 1960s during the Lombardi era where teams just ran the same stuff over and over again, daring you to stop it. I can't really blame good teams for exploiting that, but for me personally, I find that to be boring.
I can't even comprehend this. That isnt just the 1960's this would be every coaches dream. In highschool we ran a full house backfield and said stop us. When I coached high school football we ran a variation of the wing t and beat a team running 5 offensive plays. We don't have practices on here to get better we have builds. Knuds does an excellent job letting the team know where to take our builds. He also noticed there had been some changes to season 7 and had players focus on different things, this is what a good coach does. Basically you want an even playing field so your genius play calling can shine? That sounds more boring to me. Half the fun on here is creating a character and trying to get on a well run team...maybe I'm missing the point?

the funny thing is, if you actually look at our games, its very rare for us to use the same play 2 games in a row on offense, barring a string of cupcake games. lethbridge, LL, bombers, sackville... i garuntee theres no play that was run in all of them, or even the majority of them, with the exception of streaks and slant pass plays, and even then i know i didnt run both of those vs everyone.

like, against the bombers i featured a FB pass play. some games we do more TE stuff than others. spoiler alert, we're gonna try something odd against KK as well. i'll be the first to admit our defense is pretty static. With a finite number of offensive plays, it's easier to find the 'best' defenses IMO, but with a lot more varied defensive possibilities it's silly to stick witht he same offenses over and over. And im sorry, theres no broken offensive plays to the point that someone could be predictable in their offensive play calling and lead the league in points scored. it's just not possible.

That as much grief again that kingston and sackville give each other. I give them credit, if it works its like Steve Spurrier says, its the defense's job to come up with a way to stop them. So griping won't solve it at all.

Well stated!
And also...If Algoma and/or Kingston gets knocked out of the playoffs before Day 39 I would love to send a scrimmage over to Kingston for day 40 just so I could see what the matchup would be like! I have at least played the Blitz before...albeit a first preseason game last season!
I would much rather just face them for all the marbles though!

I was there too, Knudlen was there from day 1. Might have been a little more soft spoken but he was there.
I would have to say that he pretty much leaves you alone until you post some bullshit, once that has been done hes on you!
IMO dude knows his shit period.
I have found people that are brash and abrassive, when having a discussion are the ones that know there shit and really have no time to deal with petty B.S. "No patience for ignorance" I never felt like he was saying if it weren't for me KDK wouldn't be what it is today.
