Yea, sorry Bender, but it's the second time that dude has tried to bag on us. It's kind of sad that he seems to get as much enjoyment out of 6YP losing 1(!) game than his own team's accomplishments. I guess when people feel that way about you, it means you're doing something right.

I wouldve missed you too.

I can't control my team lol. Maybe I should start forum fines

There wasn't a team to hate season 6 like Guelph in season 5, so you guys were the closest thing in the East.

And no apologies needed, I don't get worked up over loldots smack talk. Keep it up season 7, it's what makes the forums worth visiting.

It's been really great playing in Canada A5, but it looks like we're going to Canada AA3.

also UG, you better not get to the Pro League before the Gamblers do.

Yeah Guelph was hated in Season 5. And then they got beaten once in the regular season and the 1st round of the playoffs. This year should be a good year. I would love to win them all and lose the championship again if we have to lose. That being said I don't expect to win them all this year. I think there are less cupcakes in the schedule on both sides and I don't see ANYONE running the table.

Hahahaha, nothing wrong with a little forum trash talk. As long as nobody takes it seriously it's all good.

If Bender started fining me, I'd end up shooting myself in the leg in about a month.

Its about time. last season and espeacially the one before there were alot of gutted and cpu teams, or really strong teams, not many in the middle. this season every team is at least decent. there doesnt look to be any real power house teams above every one else.

You need to look a little harder then. And no not at my team. There is still one power house left over. All of you should get ready for at least one butt kicking this season Alberta Irukandii is my pick to win it all.

They are a very good team, but what I meant by power house was a team who is clearly above in level. Tripple BBBs was that team last season. The season before there where two. Calgary and Niagara. This year it looks more even across the board. The team Im worried most about is Cincinatti. If they gameplan well they will be hard to beat. Looks like, for the most part gameplanning will be huge this year. no more cupcake gimmie wins. On the upside, no definate losses either. Looks to be an interesting season.

they certainly seem like an easy favorite with a bunch of player 15 levels ahead of everyone else.

some of their players are 2 full seasons ahead of where our players are at. If they don't win, then they just suck tbh

you guys look mighty tough as well. higher ranked than most of the promoted BBB teams

should be a fun season to figure this all out.

now if only Bort would process season 7 because AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH there is nothing worse than GLB offseason

I don't know. I always have a healthy respect for a team that beats mine by 50 points. UG couldn't even do that. Tripple B didn't even do that. So I still say Alberta is the team to beat this season.

Hey Not necessary about the Alberta Irukandi, because i heard the Bort will be implementing Sportmanship during season 7. Whats that you ask/

Sportsmanship

Ok, I was going to go to bed, but I'm going to clarify how things will work behind the scenes a little bit, since a lot of people are worried they are going to get screwed somehow. Please remember, this update is targeted at people who don't want to play within the "spirit of the game," not at people who do.

Every league will have a "recommended max level" posted on it's profile page. I'm going to to have to run the numbers to make sure I don't exclude too many people, but I think it will be somewhere around 8 levels above the median of the league (note that this is not the average level. Median is a bit higher).

Every player in the game has a "sportsmanship" score assigned to him. This score determines how far outside the "recommended level" range he is allowed to go before getting less XP, and what % he loses.

Doing various things related to signing improves, lowers, or resets the player's sportsmanship score.

I'm not going to give the exact amounts awarded/lost, or everything that will affect a player's sportsmanship score, nor will you be able to see the score, since I want to avoid this being exploited by min/maxers, and I do want this to illicit a little bit of fear for those who would seek to exploit it.

The types of things that improve or reset sportsmanship to the max: - Signing with a team where you are at or under the recommended level - Signing with a team where you are one of only 1-3 players above the recommended level (mentoring) - Playing a game with your team (sticking with the team) - Resigning with a team (limits per season apply) - Boosting - Being one of 3 or less players on the team owned by the same agent

The types of things that lower your sportsmanship score: - Signing as a FA with a team where you are more than 5 levels above the recommended level, even if you're "mentoring" - Signing in a league as a FA where you are above the recommended level with a team that already has 6 players over the recommended level - Signing on a team as a FA where you are above the recommended level along with more than 6 players that just came from the same team as you. Penalty increases if you also signed for min salary/bonus. - Taking multiple large signing bonuses in a short period of time from a team you own or GM - An admin can also lower your score manually if you've obviously tried to cheat

Now I'm pretty much giving everybody a clean slate at this point with a max sportsmanship score EXCEPT for some of the teams that have recently done some obvious stack/gut jobs. I'll be running some database reports to help track down those who flew under the radar, mostly looking for mass high level player movements from one team to a lower or new team, or signing bonus fraud.

I dont doubt that I just think their is much more competition this season. seems to me teams are closer talent wise than any other season. I cant wait to see. I hate the offseason.

I'm not quite set yet but I think I'm ready to start to. We may all be close on paper but it doesn't take long to find out who can plan and who can't. Alberta has the levels and the plans or they never would have beaten the Drift and the Dragons and The Lions so badly. If not for a playoff upset they wouldn't be here. But that's all I'm going to say for now on that. It won't take long to find out who the best teams are once the games start.
