Pardon me for defending my team from Mikes slander as if thats soooooo not awesome for you. Someone slanders and defames your team in such a childish and erroneous manner, you wouldnt respond to such misinformation? BS.

Chest beating? We earned the right to do that, especially after the crap Tana pulled in the regular season. Win, then talk.

Let me break this down simply, some people seem not to understand why someone would respond to such statements. These are exact quotes.

4-You also didnt play a team that exploited the sim and used a gimmick gameplan to win. You got beat straight up. Complaining about being cheated is warranted.

5-I act like losing made me cry. Does that even make sense? No.

6- Since when is winning a conference championship not a big thing for a team? Thats what every single team here, Including you, is trying to do. HELLO?!?!?!!?

This is what I have a problem with. There is no one here who can tell me they would not have a problem with this if they were in our shoes. If any of it was truthful, it would be another story. But all Mike has in his bag of tricks is lies and gimmicks.

I just like how you even said it was just a game, and yet you go totally of your way to defend yourself. If I were in your shoes, I just would have laughed in his face, and just linked to the game, instead of going in to Military defense mode of yourself and the team.

I don't intend to start anything with you, honestly, I know nothing about you, let alone anyone in this league. But to respond to a troll in the way you did, makes you one of them.

Its not about namecalling, not about whose trolling or whose not. Its about fact and fiction. I defend my team, period.

GLB would be a boring place if everyone acted the same. We all have different ways of responding to trolls or defending ourselves and/or our team. These threads rarely end in anything resembling constructive discussion, but that isn't necessarily for anyone else to decide but the people who are involved in the argument/"epeen" fest.

What I don't understand is all the people who pass judgment on the people involved in bitching at one another. Just let Matt and Mikie hate on one another. Nobody else has to get involved unless they want to add fuel to the fire. If that's your thing then more power to you. However, if it doesn't interest you or if it bothers you then simply refrain from entering the specific thread.

I have to think that if someone enters threads like these then they are looking to be entertained or they are wanting to compound the problem. You won't talk people out of arguing. It's just not possible. It's human nature to be proud and defend yourself. I don't see how judging someone helps. Let them be who they are.

is mike saying that we cheated, or "should" have beat them? i don't really see a point except to bait mattman into dropping a logic bomb on the forums.

we didn't reinvent the wheel to beat tana. i know because i see the brilliant simplicity of our gameplans every 2 days. this game isn't about levels, builds, or scouting bars. it's pretty much all tactics now.

if the sim made some kind of error and "awarded" us a win, we'll take it. it can happen to anybody and it's better to be lucky than good!

Please don't say I lied. I was only using the frame of mind that you guy's used when you said "I'd rather lose every game from here on out if I knew the sim AI would be nice to us in the postseason." ( http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=1566014&page=2 ) So, just because you beat HBB and HIB in the regular season, they still advanced on before you. So postseason play trumps regular season victories. So I don't think I lied.


I openly admit to trolling and using gimmicks, but I don't think I lied about anything. And I most definitely never accused SDD or the sim of cheating. I'm guessing English isn't fakesanta's first laguage, and something was lost in translation. My comment about the fumble ratio's complaint was a referral to a post Opspearhead made earlier in the season.

I came on here to congratulate SD for their win. I've had a lot of respect for you guys in the past. This season I have lost some for MattMan, but I don't lose it for your team in general. You guys had a good game plan set up for us. I also stopped reading this thread on page 4.

I did catch two things. First, not more than a hand full of players used their temp boost for our game in the regular season. Second, last season you lost to us and in the playoffs to DV because your offense was very predictable. It was easy to set up a defense to stop that one. We used a very similar defense last season against the Steel Riders when we played them in the intra-conference game. I think a combination of game tweaks and your offensive changes made your team a lot better this season than last.

Good job on your win and good luck in the championship game. In all of our seasons, we've only lost in the playoffs to the team that won the league championship except last season when HIB beat us.

Whats that say for everyone else? We considered using the screens like that, then we figured we'd rather win right. They ended up being your demise, irony.
