He's got great mechanics and arm strength, but as soon as he's pressured a little, he panics and makes bad decisions. Tries to rely too much on that strength. That won't fly in the NFL.

He should stay put and try to work on maturing some more next year. And it wouldn't help him to become more of a field general out there. Shows very little leadership IMO.

Stafford hasn't shown leadership? All he has is a good arm and mechanics?

He is the sole reason we've won the majority of our game. All he does is run the offense perfectly.

All he's done is the following this year:

#1 in SEC, passing yds/p/g, total offense yds/p/g, #2 passing efficiency

Thats behind a patchwork offensive line that lost is best lineman and starting LOT, his backup, and two other OL.

He's the best pro prospect in College Football right now... and its not even close.

If you want to talk about leadership, how many 4th quarter comebacks has Tebow led in his career?

Haha, easy there puddin'. You've managed to pull the ONLY STAT (other than completions) that Stafford leads the SEC QB's in. And last time I checked, you don't get points for yardage.

Look, I'm a fan of Stafford's. I do think he has an amazing arm and I do think he will be a pretty darn good NFL QB, but I don't think he's ready to go yet. That's all.

And I've actually watched a ton of GA ball. It's hard to get away from when you live in GA. Hell, I've actually watched them in person in Jacksonville. Did you manage to catch that one?

He's a decent QB (big arm, but forces passes a lot) who was so overrated coming in to Georgia that Georgia fans all feel they have to defend him. Before this year his stats weren't that good but "he was a winner." This year he's thrown a little more and has a lot more yards, but he lost to both the good SEC teams this year and a big rival in GT .

how did stafford play in those games?

outside of UF, he put up 30 pts and 42 pts in loses. In an SEC game, that should always be good enough to win.

and if you want to get technical, UGA won the East last year, just lost out on a tie breaker to decide who played in the SEC championship. I think we can all agree that UGA would have beaten that LSU team that barely escaped UT.

I think he needs another year, but only to accomplish the things he came to UGA to do, win an SEC Championship and play for a title. again, considering the massive amounts of injuries we've had on the OL, its damn near incredible how well he's played this year. If he comes back next year, our offense will be even better.

Stafford, an experienced OL, aj green, richard samuel and caleb king could all combine for a deadly attack.

now that defense, ugh. that worries me.

Stafford has allot of pro potential but he probably wouldn't even be the highest rated player from the conference going into the draft.

pretty sure he is the highest rated QB overall. can't find a good source though. i know kiper is huge on him, whatever that means. haha

Yup, the first quarter was fumble fest. And then the picks started. As I was watching that game I said to myself, whoever can stop the flood of turnovers is gonna win this game.

GG though. I'd say our two team are dead evenly matched.

Well we both put up 400 yards offence, i'd say that's pretty even. Our turnovers just cost us a lot more.
