We recruited them in the off season. There was no gutting issue, no trading from a team we know. He was on an awful Pro team from a lower Pro league and as he has clearly said in this thread himself, he wanted to stay in a system where he knew the owners and that we were going to handle things correctly.

Just being a high level doesn't mean you want to be on a nearly winless Pro team. Like I have said, its not like he came here just to put up numbers and its not like we took an entire Pro team and brought them all here. We have worked hard and brought in players that couldnt play for the Fire or other teams and brought them to the next best team that could use the upgrade. Pretty simple, it is what happens, teams upgrade and other teams need to upgrade to keep up.

I canīt believe it. Iīm going over your roster and you have been bringing in higher leveled players since the cap went tits up. So, youīre basically complaining that the high level players Chris has brought in are performing better than the ones you got. Way to take whining to a new low. I hope your teammates appreciate you complaining about them so publicly.

You can not build a team and expect to be a top team. You have to CONSTANTLY be attempting to improve your team. By doing extra recruiting and bringing in players. That is what Chris has done.

And I can promise you that levels are not everything. In fact they are absolutely nothing. My lower level CB is actually a better CB right now than my high level CB. Better in every single category that matters. Or at least will be when I finally boost him.

Bort may not want high levels in the lower leagues but where do you draw the line and if you go purely on levels then you are missing out on great low level players who know how to maximize building. Levels are a silly way to justify where people belong. Plus there are SO many players between the levels of 33-42 where do you arbitrarily put the boundaries? Should all 35s be in a Pro league and only Pro leagues? USA AAA2 used to be better (and probably still is) better than half the Pro leagues out there. They deserve and have high level players. If Bort wanted a level cap on A2 here then he would have one.

I just have issues with a successful HB (Lynch)...coming down to a 'lower' level to dominate. Sorry. It shouldn't work that way, he was already successful in a Pro league so bringing him to Canada A....yea thats cool.

Win at all costs is not the way to go either, burn way to many bridges.

Lynch didnt come here to dominate. He came here to join the Fire/Mule organization. It was irrelevant what league the Mules were in... I just wanted to get my players into their system because both Chris and BloodRunsCold are awesome guys/owners, that I've learned a lot from.

You imply that "being successful" is all that matters... I dont care so much about individual success, but more about being in an active system with knowledgeable owners/GMs that can help me along the way.

The right thing to do would have been to ask Bort to move up to a more appropriate division.

6-10 is nearly winless? He had over 1,000 yards last season in PRO.

Um, Chris did you gut an AAA team that I am not aware of? He keeps talking about this and its like we brought in 15 players or something all at once.

Maybe we should have been brought up to a higher level ... maybe that discussion never came up with me. We are not a group of full lv 40s and we havent gone 20-0 yet or anything like that. Maybe this is our level. Your team seems to think you can compete with us so we are where you are, do neither of us belong here?

And yes 6-10 is nearly winless. The team right now is 1-6 right? Did you see the teams they beat last season? This isnt this season where great teams are going 6-10 like in USA Pro and others.

AND on top of that, this is not the NFL. 1000 yards doesnt mean anything in this game. Wait until you see the amounts of yards he puts up in this 2 back system we run this season.

Oh and I agree with Kevin Smith, I would be much more worried about his build than his levels

So, youīre saying itīs ok to bring in high level players (like you do), but not players of the same level who have been on a Pro team? Care to explain why?

I wonder if he's talking about the Ballers? Course, that was a Pro team and it imploded for reasons that had nothing to do with Chris and the Mules. We've never gutted another team to strengthen the Mules.

This is truth, just look at the Florida LightningBolts, an USA AA#3 team for those that don't know them, we had two 1,000 yard rushers last season but the rushing attack was crap for the most part. 1,000 yard is a good half season for top level back on a good team in this game.

Get over the sim thing Ryan. We just faced the 3 best teams in our conference and yes we lost...I actually have a thread in our forums which has called win or loss for every game this season...so far I am 7 for 7!

You can complain all you want about the turnovers we forced on you but look at the stats...we lead the whole league in forced fumbles and fumble recoveries and we just finished up against the cream of the crop...it's not a fluke! Get over it or Marleys might do it to you too!

Wait until you have to face the real competition we just went through...I guarantee you will not win against those 3 unless one of them goes belly up by the time you play them...and I don't see that happening.

Let's see...we have 4 losses this season and they are against...hmmmmm who were those teams again? Oh yeah...#1, #2, #3 & #4! That was it! Good Grief!

Good luck against Marleys...you will need it. Of course if you lose it will just be the sims fault!
