Ahhh... the Rapid City curse.

Last season teams seemed to always go CPU the day before playing Rapid City. It's like people just gave up on life when they saw "Next Game: Rapid City Rushmores"

Sharks recognized the potential of adding Free Ballers to ANY roster in the league - we made an attempt during the off season to make some moves with them, but they only had eyes for the Tossers. Not surprising to me that the Ballers wanted to join a team where they could finally beat us (now for some humble pie: the Free Ballers may have been 0-3 against us, but every single game was close and could have gone either way - we Sharks really did luck out in at least one of those games)

I'm telling you BBB lovers need to drop the love affair for each and come into the A League Much like I will drop the love affair of other A League teams next year when the Tossers are sitting pretty in AA and look at the season that is not all the seasons that were...welcome to season 6 ex-BBB teams

Pimps will be back in A8 next year, and we will continue our A8 love affair.

Unfortunately the BBB teams are trapped in a time warp. Not only are they holding rivalries with each other, but they are banding together creating what seems to be a former BBB teams vs. current A8 teams rivalry? Get over it.

Hey homeslice - I AM A League, and have been for several seasons. A lot of teams in this league have been doing everything they can to compete, but when one team decides to implode and sends most of the valuable players to just one other team, there's not much any of the rest of us can do to make it an interesting race. It's all good, cause it's all done within the rules, but I gotta say - all those players going to the Keg Tossers didn't do much to help balance the league.

I'm just sayin that it would be nice to see ALL teams in a league get some say in the distribution of existing talent when ownership changes.

^^ his comment is only directed at BBB teams lol I think you misunderstood the comment. All the BBB teams are obsessed with DVD and other former BBB teams, and ignoring the fact that there are other good teams established here.

You're right, though, about Putnam. It's not an even playing field when one team implodes and directs their top players to one specific team. I don't think there is anything "fair" in GLB, though. Never has been, never will be. There's always big egos trying to assemble super-teams just so they can shit talk everyone else.

I was doing a new Power Ranking and closed the wrong window. Now I have learned my less and Will be doing it in Word.

Also GG to Orlando. How did your WR's and TE catch so many balls when our CB's and LB's were humping them? I thought you were going to throw for 500+ yards after seeing the 92 and and 77.5 yarder in the first quarter.

I think the best way to get new players is to go for players that are on teams that are disbanding. Why not go for players that you are familiar with?

Gotta go, a high level team has disbanded. They got some monster O-linemen that would look great on the Keg Tossers Hopefully they are available.

^^ the problem I find with recruiting players from teams that are disbanding is that most of the time, those players already have buddies they want to go join on with.

I don't know why Bort doesn't create a system that forces players to finish their contracts even when team ownership changes. It has made sense in the early Beta stages, but we've been doing this for almost a year already... time for an actual system. The man has his hands full, but gutting/selling teams continues to be the biggest problem on GLB.

Trust me, we'd rather not be playing cupcake teams. It gets boring winning by 100 game after game.
