I'll take matchup into account, but I'm not throwing any game out. When teams beat up on the Rams or Raiders, the NFL doesn't throw their records out, and neither will we. That said, if there is a great performance vs. a solid team, it will have more weight than a great performance vs. a gut.
Are you trying to say the difference between the best and worst teams in the NFL is comparable to the best and worst here?
