Eh, I like to think my reasoning was at least vaguely legitimate. Sure, I could have join a team that could take more losses, but I was approached by multiple people on the Legionnaires about joining up, and they *actually* seemed sincere in interest instead of the usual copy/paste messages people send out.

It's been a great call. Sure, the winning is nice (I haven't been on GLB as much as I have been because of school/work/generally waning interest), but it's mostly the team community and unity. Tons of great guys that have given me a load of great advice and help.

I know you want to stay and play with teams that are basically a season behind you. Yeah, that is a ton of fun for everyone. How rewarding can that be? I played on an African A team that won their championship today, and I was like, "Okay." Nothing more. So, SheVegas, if they were ever to agree with you, they would run the chance of someone actually seeing that.

Myself, as a former D1 athlete, always wants the best competition. Obviously, they have never played a sport any level that actually mattered, so they will gladly take this as a lifetime achievement. And that is fine, we will continue to work and gather the best team possible. So, Borg members please prove me wrong and admit to how you have dominated the league. I dare you!

Great post Lorenzo...I am sure Hokie won't reply...He never does to things or questions that make sense.

Which by looking at your DE you needed the help...and since the Borg as 100's of players (which is another advantage, I can see why you joined there)

This was at least and interesting point. I was surprised when LOL didn't want to move up. I was also surprised the Jakarta joined them, becuase that seemed the "easy way out" so to speak. I was never a D1 athlete, actually I'm not very good at sports athletically, but I play them all the time and do more than hold my own because of heart, fire, smarts, and determination. THAT is why I love sports.

If LOL stays or if they go, we are competing to win. That is the point being missed. Just because a team loses, doesn't mean they are not competing. We have gotten better every season, we don't have a championship yet, but hopefully we'll get that squared away. Until then, we are going to COMPETE!!!



I will be honest with you, I respect athletes that played with heart, fire, smarts, and determination. That is how I was raised. You play that way, and if you have the ability you move on level wise. Basically, majtech, we are seeing eye-to-eye. It is all about competing to our best ability. It is hard to do if most of the players are Mogesy Bogues and one is Dwight Howard, though. As most of you know, SheVegas comes off strong, but I can guarantee you, since I know him extremely well, all he wants is for everything to be on an even plane. Majtech, we are on the same page - we will also do everything to compete. Can anyone ask anything else? I think not.

Agree...but the Legs are not just the Legs they are all of the ORg given you a huge advantage

First of all, I think it's pretty well known by my team anyway, I would LOVE to move to the World League, if it ever comes to fruition. I'll say it again, so there is no mistake...

Why do you think I organized the World Cup Tournament? I WANT to play any team that we can. All I can do is play the teams on our schedule. My only other option is thru scrimmages. I think the fact that we've scrimmaged Chicago Mustangs, Galaxy Aces, San Jose Spartans, Prague Punishers, Detroit Cheetahs, Santiago Benitos, Dryden Blues, Cobra Kai, etc etc etc, proves the point that yes, we would gladly leave if we could. We are not afraid of any competition.

The fact some have this made up, built in excuse from S3, that they want to keep using is ridiculous though. Eventually you have to get over yourself, and either improve, as we have, or don't, and accept getting beat by a better team. To keep using an excuse from 3 seasons ago, that has no relevance to now though, is well, sad.

And if this is true...Go to the suggestion thread...Write how there should be a World League and tell them to put your "world class" team there.
