Yeah, it is kind of like how we are rooting for the undefeated team on the Alpha side in AAA #1 to go to the championship, we kind of want to play them in the championship (provided we make it that far).

I'm not even sure why we're playing the games, the Rain & Gangsters seem to have things wrapped up.

I only remember to season two in Zeta and it was
Sea 2 - LVSB - Lost 2nd round
Sea 3 - LVSB - Lost 3rd round
Sea 4 - Portland - Lost 3rd round
Sea 5 - Polynesia - ???

Season 1 was 6 games long and the number one seed were Midway Monsters who lost to the #4 Seed LVSB.

The number one seed has never made the League Championship game in Oceania A/AA#1

I know us Dingoes are new to the playoff hunt, but TECHNICALLY, this would be an upset. We did manage to eek out (and I do mean eek out) a regular-season win against the Inmates, which won us the #4 seed and a chance to bring playoff football to the people of Mt. Isa for the first time with a home game.

Actually, Samoa was #1 seed in season 3, by virtue of LVSB's loss in the cross-conference game.

But yes, the #1 seed is cursed. After our 16-0 season in AAA #1, we got upset by the #8 seed in the playoffs today

Thanks for the classy response... now to try and break up that Portland-Polynesia rematch. We had a 6-0 lead on Polynesia going into the 4th quarter of our matchup in the regular season before falling apart in the 4th (lost 24-6). Good luck to you Swashbucklers, should be fun.
