If WNV is good, they just got good, LARGELY in part to their chemistry. The team that beat the BBB wasnt beating them earlier in the season. And being a playoff team in the Lion this season is kind of anticlimatic, being that there is no gray area on who is a playoff team and who is not.
the playoffs will be intense though.. all the top 8 teams are good
Yeah.. but it's slowly starting to look like a few are just a notch above the rest. The next few games will tell the tale.
Yeah, thats how its always been though. Its always been Bombali - Uganda - Gambia - Stingtalk for quite some time....WNV is breaking up the party (hopefully
)
Thats not all that true. The U's became a power in Season 4. In Season 3, we were just a fringe contender that missed the playoffs. The Cutters were always in the thick of it, although dealing with the Bulls and those damn Zimbabwe Beavers made things waaay tough. With the Beavers and Bulls moving up and one of us going after this season, this conference has become alot more lopsided than it used to be, although it's possible that it could be evened out as early as Season 7, with the new Single A leagues below us.
But the U's are selfish. We really dont wanna know how AA plays out. We're playing for another chance at the Beavers and Bulls next year to show we belong on the same field as them.
It's nothing personal against any of you guys, but after we finally beat the Cutters, other than maybe giving BBB some "get back" in the playoffs, we've pretty much accomplished our AA goals, except win a championship. We've beaten everyone in the Lion and have owned some. We've beaten most of the perennial heavyweights in the Elephant. Now, we want the actual gatekeepers and success measuring sticks. But to get to them again, we have to win here. So, that's our goal.
