By show the flaws in my arguments, you mean make wild claims? The only thing I was wrong about was the outcome of the game, so I don't see why you care now that you've proven your victory on the field. I'm not going to spend more time than I did last time making predictions.

Since you're going to complain anyway, I might as well make those dartboard predictions and just post the matchup winner as the predicted game winner next time. It will save me a lot of time.

I said LOL @ using levels for figuring out who the better team was. You are free to use whatever means you want to determine a teams strength. Level numbers. Dart boards. Whoever you dislike or like the most.

What wild claim is there other than saying the using levels is an extremely lazy and innaccurate way at looking how good a team is? In the future, I recommend giving any team that comes into the league with a 20 game win streak the benefit of the doubt against mediocre teams if you don't want to actually look into things.

Other than that, I have no problem spending a little extra time looking for more detail into your team for a prediction. Is this fair?

Of course, now that you edited your post, it doesn't say that anymore. You said we were behind at a few key positions. Too bad I didn't quote it to preserve you covering it up later.

I would have laughed at your prediction system if you had done that system for any other teams. Anyway, make all the predictions you want. Have fun!

No. For the love of god, listen. I posted the pre-edit a few pages back. Even before editing, I did not even say in the prediction that it was how I was predicting your game. You implied that all on your own. There was no cover up. Look a few pages back. I can even put it back in the original OP if you want. It still doesn't make you right.

this is stupid and you both should stop arguing about it already.

avalon you are clearly wrong on this stupid technical point being argued about because other than saying that both teams seemed equally matched, your comment about lower level players in key areas was the ONLY analysis you gave on the matchup. any reasonable person reading what you wrote would assume it played a part in your prediction.

you can't convince people after the fact that it was, as you say, only a "side-comment" that played no part in your prediction when there were no main course comments for it to be a side dish for.

hopefully the bickering will soon end and the A #8 community will eventually recover and people will be able to disagree with someone's predictions or rankings without causing an international incident.

Yeah? I've been trying to cut this off for a while now. You like to keep bringing it back up. I'm not "clearly wrong", because I can definitely tell you a lot more than what I posted went into my final predictions for the games. I don't care how you read it. End of story.

believe it or not, when someone is reading something that you write, very often they are unable to read your mind and instead have to draw conclusions from the actual words that they see in front of them

at this point i really can't tell if you are being deliberately obtuse just to troll or if you actually don't understand this simple concept
