If he made you sign the extension then traded you to some scrub BBB team I'd agree you had a gripe. It's happened to me in the past and I was very pissed off about it.

But the dude is letting you pick where you are heading. That's a lot more than you would get from 95% of the owners out there. Sounds to me that he's being a stand up guy and you're needlessly trashing him.

A stand up guy would have told me from the start that another K was being leveled for the team. He made me 3 different contract offers from the time I joined the team and not once did he mention anything. The entire time I was led to believe I was going to be the K for the foreseeable future.

A stand up guy would have told me " Hey man, I can give you this bonus, but know that we have another guy coming in for S5 and he'll be taking your spot. So instead of accepting this offer, you might be better to wait until you find a new team"

And he did trade me to a 1-15 scrub team to begin with.

Well at least you will learn something the hard way like I did. Never ever sign any deal longer than 1 year.

And that will suck for some of the other owners teams I have players on.

He paid for your L24 upgrades, makes sense that he'd want to get something in return for you. And since you're fully equipped, it shouldn't be hard to find someone who's filling to trade for you. What's the problem?

Well clearly you are mad or you wouldn't be throwing such a tremendous tantrum over this.

I don't see what the big deal is other than you just being a petty narcissistic boob. At worst what seems to have happened was a misunderstanding about whether you were leaving or not that led to him getting a replacement who he decided to keep over you, and his offer to trade you wherever you wanted for minimum cash (which for all intents and purposes is just as good as a release, the only difference being he gets some compensation and unless you are the aforementioned petty narcissistic boob that doesn't affect your player at all or his future) was his attempt to resolve the misunderstanding in the best way possible. But for some reason that set you off on this charade of yours.

Seriously, you sound like a lot more trouble than you're worth anyway, good riddance to bad rubbish, I kinda pity the owner that has to deal with you next.
