Also team owners need to realize that they shouldnt be able to go 16-0 every season, if you win a league championship and go up 2-3 caps you shouldn't be able to dominate right away at the new cap level.

Because they already went through this idiotic stadium system and built up their sections & cash legitimately. Taking that away from them serves what purpose?

You have a much better starting point than any of us back when we first bought our teams but long term cash will get tight for you.

I do because I don't care about having masses of cash, We are building a team together and plan to stay as a team, I wont need masses of cash to recruit players who wnat absurd amounts of money. So what they have a ton of cash that sits on their homepage and looks pretty, so what, they'll never be able to use most of it anyways....

There are not enough uncommitted players to sustain the number of teams at the top. Sorry but its a fact that the teams with a network and farm teams are the only ones who can stay at the top level of the game ad infinitum.

It creates a level playing field for all of the teams starting over. That in itself is worth it.

I think there is a middle ground.

I agree that a team with $40+ million in the cap 14 is too much as well as having a full stadium. It is a huge advantage long term and it harms growth in the game at the lowest levels.

I think that teams will full stadiums who are demoted by owner request should have their stadium's sections over the default deactivated. For example a level 14 team cannot sell tickets beyond level 100 sidelines and 1 corner section which is what a new owner will build before their first season if they are smart. As you move up in level your sections get re-opened. You get a benefit for long term ownership which is good for the game and for Bort. This will help to compensate for your loss of cash which IMHO still has to happen but not at the level catch22 is proposing.

Team cash will be reduced by 5% of their cash for every level they drop lower than AA. Dropping from the pros to the level 4 is 11 league drops. That will cost you 55% of your cash. The % number can be debated or a max number can be created for the level 4 and level 14 teams.

To me this would make a much more even playing field but at the same time encourage and penalize long term ownership.

Sofia has no network of farm teams and has been above AA for 7 seasonsish now.

the same will happen to everyone else....thats the purpose.

They should wait on the reset until they are ready to implement the new financial system. Otherwise, folks might be screaming for a reset again the next season.
