Not bad for a team that was predicted by Dana to be a borderline playoff team entering the season. Maybe next time. Rep the conference well in the title game.

That would be too logical for GLB.

Agreed. Pretty retarded at best.

Yeah, I thought it made simple calculations to determine the 'best fit' (whether that be lolbars or whatever). Usually the low levels have the issues just because a CB can have just a good rushing bar or w/e as an HB. I could see how a high level could have a similar issue on that front, but QB blows my mind.
Guess I don't really understand how the depth chart 'best fit' selection functions.

I'm pretty sure I've had an empty depth chart before and it just filled in with players at that position. The spaces where it won't are things like KR / PR where there aren't any players naturally at those positions, so it chooses the player with the highest speed and the highest something else (carrying? agility? I forget).

We had a bug that kept popping up on alpine for 2-3 seasons where a CB kept getting put in at HB on specific energy related occasions. It was something with having a HB in the FB spot and energy settings choosing the CB to be the HB slot. It was weird but i think they fixed the bug during s23

I believe the problem is that an empty slot will be filled by a player who is on the depth chart somewhere
If the player is not on the depth chart at all, the sim assumes you want him to sit out for the game.
There used to be a good reason for that in terms of controlling XP, but not anymore I think.
