When I first got glasses I remember being amazed at the detail I could see in trees. Being able to see the defined leaves was somewhat enjoyable.

Take some mushrooms and go for a walk in the woods. Your life may never be the same.

At that point right now. Almost ran a red on the way home from the eyeglass place cuz I was staring at the trees and grass on the side of the road. The detail is amazing

But I do have a few gripes-
1. Peripheral vision is a fucking accordion. When I turn my head everything shrinks then expands
2. It's a little disorienting and its making me a little queasy. How long till it not do this?
3. Close vision is now blurry with them on, I have to adjust the shit out of my eyes to compensate.
4. With 3, It throws off my depth perception a little. I am going to trip and fall at least one time today

3 should go away in less than a day, and I'm betting the rest will go with it.

I thought dust was a homogenous opaque layer of browish looking fog composed of dirt particles too small to see.
I was wrong. I can see the individual particles of dust like gritty sandpaper. The world is so clear. What the fuck else have I been missing? Stoplights are like a fireworks show :O

Got hit in the face for the first time at work today by a 12 year old. Ive been scratched, spit on, kicked, and punched in the arm before but not in the face. Good times.

Also got to go to the ER with one of our patients because she broke off a piece of sink (who the fuck knows how), stabbed herself in the stomach, and started pulling out chunks of fat.
