In the past I was pretty sure CPU teams, which I think you would qualify as basically, filled the demotion slots before teams were sent down. It was only after 2 CPU teams were sent down, and CPU teams remained that more teams were demoted.

GG MTD and thx for the offer. i'd love to stay up in the Pros and I will be petitioning Bort to make all season 8 games 2 quarters long. That's about how long we can hang until my guys lose steam.

Oh yeah, I'm also going to bring QB One out behind the woodshed and only 1 of us is coming back...what an awful year that was. I fully appreciated my time up here in O-Pro and know we have some things to work on - but we'll be back up at the end of season 8.

GG man, the big plays just went our way.

I would love to play you guys in the playoffs, not because I think we would win or anything, but because that would have to be in the CCG and in order to do that we would have to do something we have not been able to do since our first season in OPL.

You guys played us tough, that's for sure. We both had a few chances to win it in regulation. We had that pick well within FG range. You guys had the turnover early in range, you missed a long FG late in the game, etc.

There are about 12 teams in Zeta league who could all beat each other on any given day. Then there are a couple who are a little better and a couple who are bringing up the rear. Overall though, I think the talent is close enough most of these games come down to prep work and the random number generator. I can trace almost every loss we've had this season to better gameplanning by our opponent or us not figuring out how to stop something we saw on film we knew they were going to do. On the flip side, we've had some very close wins where we were almost out-gameplanned by teams who aren't going to be in the playoffs. This is a great league. Frustrating at times, but a great league.
