this one. my biggest gripe would be the battery, but mine is normally plugged up sitting on the island in my kitchen. my kitchen and living room are open, so i sit at the island and watch tv while i cook.

Stay in the low end market. Bolick's chromebook advice is still good although some of your old games might be a no go in that realm of laptops. Trade-off you'd have to decide.

You can serve your needs for under $350 regardless.

Yea this was kinda what I figured to spend max.

The one I was looking at was 8gb ram, AMD Quad-Core A8-7410 Processor + AMD Radeon(TM) R5 Graphics with 15 inch screen. That was like 325? Or so, i cant remember even what brand I was looking at

There's game benchmarks for that Radeon R5 if you scroll down. It's comparatively low end but you might be ok.

That system is likely going to run hot, so you'll want a cooling pad for when you stress it.

Yea im not really too worried about it being a little on the low end. Like I said im not doing anything serious. Right now im using an HP Pavillion from 09 with intel core 2 duo TM T6400 and the stuff I use it for is just slowing down.

and there is the option to upgrade to the R7 for 70 bucks
